Love touring London pubs, this one was excellent, would have been nice to have seen a pub quiz, but there again I'm a bit of a fanatic. More Atmosphere: Value: Quality:

The Little Bar, Tooting (Bar)
“I really want to like The Little Bar, Tooting is in desperate need of a small perfectly formed bar. We have been several times and each time, I am sorry to say, leave feeling a little disappointed and unfulfilled. Its sad, because what does not sit well could be so easily fixed: have an up to date wine list, if something is not available take it off the blackboard menu (the advantage of having a blackboard is that it can be quickly and easily updated), be pleasant and welcoming to all your guests and speed the service up. I don’t want to stand at the bar waiting for my order while the barman chats to those sitting in front of him. These may seem like petty grips but add up to feeling unwelcome and a little frustrated with the lack of service and warmth. We do support our local businesses but for the time being other places will be getting our custom. Sorry Little Bar.”

“We went to the bar first in the restaurant and had some amazing cocktails, the bar tenders really knew their stuff. Try and of the Martinis. The restaurant was busy and we had some Rock Oysters and seafood platters to share. Service and atmosphere is hard to beat - love to go back soon , not bad price for what you get”

“Just moved in the Streatham area and decided to try out the local fare. Went with my girlfriend last weekend and ordered the Chicken Escalope main....but NOT with a side serving of dark hairs, which were apparently complimentary!!! The salad dressing was watery and awful, and to top that off, my girlfriend's chicken was undercooked. The service wasn't particularly great at fixing this either. Won't be back!”

“Thank you Artesian bar staff you are great. Lovely people very friendly and polite. Our group had an amazing night to remember for very long time. The interior is the best we have seen and we had such a lovely table/area reserved by the fireplace. The cocktails are really nice and the music is absolutely the best. Love the DJs on the ground floor and the second floor. Will be back very soon. x”

“Thalassa restaurant is without doubt my favourite place to eat! My family, friends and myself have eaten there numerous times and the service, food and atmosphere have never been short of superb! My daughter wanted her 18th birthday celebrations with family there and all our guests were very impressed with every aspect of the evening! We are always made to feel welcome and the staff are all lovely. They have themed nights which I have attended a few times which are terrific value for money and all in all if you want a good night with excellent food and atmosphere this is the place to go! X”

Baltic Exchange, City of London (Restaurant)
“We hired the Boardroom here for a corporate function a couple of year's ago and I returned recently with my wife as a 50th Birthday surprise for her. We have both worked in and around the City of London and so are very familiar with the famous Baltic building. The Boardroom is like something out of Buckingham palace and the food is brilliant - the room hire was only about £500 and the menu we had was about £30ph for three courses which for such a great place we thought was okay. Would recommend it to anyone wanting to impress.”

“Stunning venue nothing like I have been to before. We had such a great night and really enjoyed the music. Really tasty cocktails but bar wait was little long. I also wished we had reserved a table beforehand as everything was reserved and we had nowhere to sit. I loved the top room. Lovely staff, very friendly.”

“I was amazed by the Bank club when I went there last Wednesday. My friend has been a member there for a couple of years and she always swore by it, but i thought she would be too subjective. When I walked the ladies from Reception greeted me very nicely and took my coat. I was made to feel welcomed immediately, not what I expected from such a posh place. Inside there was live jazz music, exactly to my taste. Cocktails arrived quickly although it was busy and they were Glorious!!! I have joined as a BlindBee member and go there at least twice a week, definetely worth my money.”

The Red Fort, Soho (Bar / Restaurant)
“Unlike many other Indian restaurant on almost all major streets in London, I was highly recommended this place by my friends. We had been there on a busy Friday evening and was quiet happy to get reservation at peak hours. Being Indian, I always had been fussy about quality of Indian food being served in eateries, but I couldn't find a better quality and taste we had at Red Fort. The starters were amazing!! We ordered Hara Kebab, Soft Shell Crab, Hariyali Jhinga (prawns) and Lentil dumplings. All were very different in taste, presentation and style of cooking. Menu is well designed with a high quality selection of vegetables, meats, game and seafood. Starters priced between £6 – £12 is fair considering the portion size. Our mains included in-house speciality Dumpukht Biryani (lamb) cooked in authentic Hyderabadi style, Lucknowi Murgh (spicy chicken curry), Awadhi Hiran (venison) are to find on menu in Indian restaurant, Saunfian Paneer Tikka (cottage cheese) and Subz Kofta (mix veg dumplings). All were very tasty, esp the biryani which was a total treat in a steaming pot. Manager was very kind to allow us to take a copy of the menu signed by their head chef Azadur Rahman. it was our anniversary so thanks for the relic we received. Desserts were a good selection of few hot and cold delicacies like Gulab Jamun, Mango Kulfi and Funky Pie. Service was flawless and unobtrusive with adequate help coming in recommending dishes for an unforgettable evening. Well worth asking their opinion. Wine list was very extensive covering almost all major wine producing countries. I was almost lost in such big selection and asked wine sommelier to help us out once again. Well, who could have chosen a white wine from Turkey, so perfect to start with and a red wine Marichal Reserve Tannat from Uruguay. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience. Hope to dine there soon.”

“I first visited this club when it first opened around 8 years ago the original bar staff was made up of 3 amazing bar staff particular Kirsty who i will never forget meeting, a beautiful girl with bundles of personality and charm. unfortunately after returning I was disappointed to see that the girls were no longer there and the only eye candy were the dancers. I think the clubs done well to still be open however I preferred how it was in the start.”
