Recent bar & restaurant customer reviews in London
The Tapestry, Barnes & Sheen (Bar / Restaurant)
“This is probably one of the most “good value” for money restaurants in South West London.
The Owners and Staff are always ready to welcome you with a warm and genuine smile and even when very busy they are always very helpful and friendly and will do their best to find you a table.
Food is always of a first class standard and one of the few restaurants where if you ask for your meat to be rare it is cooked correctly. Good size portions and innovative menu which changes daily.
Highly recommended and well worth a visit.”

The Barracuda, Ealing (Bar / Club)
“Shut this place down please. They have changed the name and done some cheap decorating, its a shame they couldn't get rid of the management/owner of the place. Random prices, watered down drinks, rubbish staff in the bar and on the door, JOKE.”

Savoir Faire, Bloomsbury (Restaurant)
“I have been booking lunches for myself and a group of retired work colleagues (meeting about once a month) at Savoir Faire for around eight years. Our numbers have varied from around 5 to 20 depending on our availability. We have enjoyed consistently good and well-presented French cuisine at an extremely reasonable set price for two courses and have always been made very welcome.”

Zoo Bar London, West End (Bar / Club)
“My friends and I paid £7 each to go the Zoo bar on Tuesday night. Later, I put on a baseball cap that my friend had bought with him. Then a bouncer told me to put my drink down and go out side to "talk" to him. When I got out side he said I wasn't allowed back in side and he wouldn't give a reason why. In case your wondering I wasn't drunk and I wasn't causing any trouble, which really pissed me off. They basically ruined me and my friend's night for no reason.”

“Haven't been in Salsa Bar for a while but have had some cracking nights here! The music is lively and lots of dancing. Can get very busy and sweaty downstairs but all adds to the atmosphere.”

B@1 (Be at One), West End (Bar)
“Me and my friend went there recently for a quick drink and end up staying all night. The music is awesome (anything from 60' up till now). They have a great deal on happy hour. Selection of more then 150 cocktails and they are all 2-4-1. But i have to say the customer service is 5 stars. The staff is friendly and happy and it is great to see that someone actually enjoys working. Highly recomended. I can't say one bad thing about it. Definitely will be back.”

Wong Kei, West End (Restaurant)
“Great value, fast food Chinese restaurant in Chinatown. If you've been out for a few bevvies straight after work and need a bit of quick substance before continuing your drinking Wong Kei's is perfect! Waiters may be a bit severe so don't expect 5 star service but the food although not the best quality is fantastic value and arrives rapidly.”

64th & Social, Clapham (Bar / Restaurant)
“I was there on Saturday, granted, it was reasonably early (9ish) but I loved it! It was the first time in 64th & Social, and my friend and I really didn't know what to order. The bar staff helped us make that decision and made us the best apple martinins ever!
We're definitely going back and taking some gal pals with us - the bar eye candy alone is worth going back for!”

Carluccio's, Fitzrovia (Restaurant)
“Every time I come to London I make a point of visiting this Cafe, yesterday (08 Sept) was no exception, had the Tuna Fishcake with Salad and Chicken and Lemon Risotto, my wife had Mushroom and Pancetta Soup and the Risotto. We both enjoyed the meals, wonderful food, fantastic atmosphere in the Cafe, it was alive and buzzing. A truly fantastic place to go and eat out.”

Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, Soho (Bar / Restaurant / Club)
“Whilst living in London, I've been to Ronnie Scott's several times over the last few years, and I must say I have always enjoyed the experience there. Food may have gone downhill a tiny bit and obviously the smoking ban has reduced the whole jazz bar atmosphere (although the musicians must benefit hugely!) so i would still recommend going.”

Christopher's, West End (Bar / Restaurant)
“Brunch on a Sunday is fast becoming an established ritual for me and my family. The food is excellent and in relaxing surrondings is the best place to spend a Sunday afternoon. The bar is also an excellent place to meet friends on a Friday night if you want somewhere fancy but relaxing and their dinner menu is as good as the brunch. The tobacco onions are worth going for in themselves. I would recommend it to anyone.”
