“Excellent atmosphere and good service however although my steak was excellent the quantity of vegetables was very poor (10 runner beans and 2 small boiled potatoes cut in half) I requested more from the waitress but was informed that was the amount always served? A great shame considering all of the other factors.”

“Like Andrew Said the food is great but everything else about the venue sucks. Cold draft! Eccentric owner! Maybe he should just hire a manager and become a customer...”

“its all just been changed around in the last few weeks i think. There is new management in there. Eaten there a couple of times with clients. The menu is really different which is refreshing for someone like myself considering the options in the area for breakfast. The new guy in there seems to know what he is doing. Hopefully it will get the recognition is deserves”

“This place is a decent, economic and reasonably authentic high street Italian. Ive been going for over 15 years and its pretty reliable. Some dishes are average, some are great but none are bad. Its a loud buzzy atmosphere, normally busy and a decent meal for 2 with one bottle of wine is about £40.”

“Usually go in on a saturday morning and eat with my daughter, not many places in the area that cook a decent breakfast or let kids in. The staff seem really nice and its kinda quirky and fun.”

“Although the atmosphere can be a bit 'rahhaha I'm a banker and I'm at Nobu so I can be loud' the food is out of this world. The best sushi I have tasted and the most attentive service. We went for my partners boyfriend and they really looked after us, even presented him with a candle and message on his dessert. No visit is complete without the Wagyu beef and foie gras gyoza... heaven on a plate”

“Great for delicious cocktails, I love the espresso martini, and nibbles while listening to the amazing acts they have on there. I do love a sing-a-long. Great location too, perfect to get the last train home as High Street Ken is just opposite”

“had an unbelievably bad omlette here...processed cheese, horribly greasy and accompanied by a lukewarm coffee...nice! did attempt to complain to the staff but their limited english prevented any satisfactory outcome. the place doesn't work for me as you tend to end up staring mournfully at waitrose”

“SO yummy. Went there after the Opera and found the food delicious - loved the Linguine with big prawns, had the perfect kick from fresh chillies. Portions were very very generous. The artwok on the wall was so beautiful - try and get a table facing it as it's a joy to look at while dining. I recommend this particular Zizzi to everyone.”

“I recently visited The Windmill and was astounded at how so many of the girls were not impecabbly dressed. Most were not beautiful or glamorous. It was a very desperate and intimidating atmosphere where the girls literally pulled my arm as soon as i walked through the door. I would not recommend this club as a classy venue.”

“Sadly no atmosphere and food certainly not rated. Although welcoming & staff friendly. Despite being quiet, the waiter came back to verify our order twice, then still forgot to bring the starters. After a terribly long wait (place was empty) our main course arrived first. Meal tasted surprisingly dreadful. So bad that both myself and my partner (although ravenous) were unable to finish our meal and that's saying something. Having lived and worked in Italy and eaten out regularly both in Italy and the UK (italian being my favourite) this place certainly does not deserve its place even in a top 100”
