Simply Indian, Borough & Southwark (Restaurant)
“Had previously ordered from here and food was fair to medium so thought would give it another try but with another selection (perhaps not their best dishes). However, this time whilst asking for advice on recommended dishes I was asked "did you want to order or not?"
I'm sorry, but if I am to spend my hard earned money anywhere, I don't expect such poor customer service.
My money will go elsewhere thanks!”

“The new refurbishment has made such a great difference. The restaurant appears so much lighter and airy and sitting outside next to the Serpentine is an absolute pleasure! Would definitely recommend.”

Ping Pong Great Marlborough Place, Soho (Bar / Restaurant)
“One tiny complaint about this fantastic little place and that is that although the seating fits in wonderfully with the rest of the decor, I always find it pretty uncomfortable! Don't let that put you off however, the good points more than make up for that. The food is delightful and is displayed wonderfully in little dishes and baskets. Drinks are original and quite spectacular looking and well worth the £6 odd which really is no more than you'd pay anywhere else in London. The service I have experienced has always been good and the restaurant itself has a nice cosy feel. Easy going atmosphere, never feel hurried, surprisingly good value for money. Well done!”

The Union Tavern, Clerkenwell (Bar)
“Our Sunday Roast was supurb. Piping hot, tasty and plate not overcrowded. Service was quick by very pleasant staff. Came back for a drink in the evening and feeling a little peckish after our sightseeing, decided to have some supper. Even though about 30 Chinese tourists arrived at the same time, we were still accommodated by the very professional staff and enjoyed a delightful tasty supper without waiting too long. I would highly recommend the Union Tavern.”

Cinnamon Kitchen, City of London (Bar / Restaurant)
“Anise is an excellent bar to bookend a wonderful dining experience at Cinnamon Kitchen. Their unique, spicy cocktails are faultless, as are the the well-trained and very polite staff who mix and serve them. The restaurant offers the same standard: great friendly, knowledgeable staff and excellent food. Highly recommended!!!!!!”

The Cardinal, Kingston (Bar)
“A pub that has very liitle to recommend it. There is no atmosphere except for the public bar when football is on Sky sports then it can be rowdy. we had to send our beer back as it did not taste right and they were not keen to change it, doubting our word. A rweeible exzperience.”

Cah Chi, Wandsworth (Restaurant)
“The atmosphere wasn't electric, as we were the only ones dining in the restaurant! But the waiters made up for it & were very courteous and great at giving advice. The food was divine - first time i've tried korean and it really was delicious. We brought our own wine so we treated ourselves to even more of their menu - well worth it! Recommend this restaurant & would hope it's busier on other nights. It deserves to be.”

“We went here on a visit to London and found it to be a fantastic place, great live music upstairs. Sure it was a bit crowded but that's atmosphere. Apart from being the only real Irish people in a Irish bar it was great. I'll defo go back.”

The River Room, Westminster (Bar / Restaurant)
“My company launch was simply amazing and I have to thank both The River Room and their sister venue Altitude 360.
The River Room team did a great great job. The venue is incredible. Both The River Room along with their sister venue Altitude 360, offers either direct river level views of the Thames and Westminster or panoramic Jet liner views of London.
Impeccable facilities and innovative service these brand new, state-of-the-art venues offer an impressive array of event facilities with over 15,000 sq. ft. of space for between 10 and 1200 people. The venue is perfect for corporate events, conferences, cocktail parties, product launches, as well as exclusive dinners and private occasions.
My company organised a product launch here and I can honestly say that if you are looking for a remarkable space and wanting to mesmerise your guests, look no further than The River Room.
Thank you. What a job!!!”

“My company used Altitude 360 for a major launch. It was simply amazing and I have to thank Altitude 360 and their team for a great great job. The venue is wow wow wow.

I am taking the time to compliment these guys as the event my company organised (a product launch) reflected so well on me personally and of course my company that I just want to thank them!!

The Winchester, Angel & Islington (Bar / Restaurant / Club)
“Living 20 yards from the Winchester and having been a regular since moving to Angel in Jan 09, we were looking forward to the completion of the last stage of renovations. We have just arrived home having walked out without even gettin a drink. On entering we were warmly greeted and got a v nice table, which was cleaned down for us. The problem was with getting a drink, I waited 15 mins at the bar which had 4 staff and 1 other customer, having to listen to staff discussing their footware and which coffee they drink while being ignored is not my idea of a Sunday drink, having called for attention on a number of occasions and been ignored each time, still no other customers and 4 staff, I gave up and myself and my wife walked out. The pub looks good but if you can't get a drink when there is no other customers and 4 staff then it all means nothing. Most if the staff we recognized from pre work times so there is no excuse. Not good enough when there is so many great options within throwing distance. Shame, but won't be back.”

London Steakhouse Co. Chelsea, Chelsea (Restaurant)
“The steaks here are amazing. I have now been three times and not managed to order any other main course as they are so good!
Lovely laid back atmosphere, but with attentive service. Place was pretty busy though for midweek, never been on a weekend, but imagine you'd need to book.
Best value around this part of town easily, and I've eaten all the way down the Fulham and Kings Roads!”

Attilio, City of London (Restaurant)
“Good old fashioned Italian family restaurant - chequered table cloths, cheeky waiters, homely atmosphere, decent food with a brilliant £11.95 2-course plus amaretti deal. The food is average Italian - don't go for haute cuisine, but do go for a lovely cosy, friendly, down-to-earth dining experience.”

The Boaters Inn, Kingston (Bar)
“The venue itself is fantastic, right at the river in beautiful Kingston! A proper beer garden outside, very nice staff inside, too. However food is rather something to indulge when you're drunk already, not when looking for a super nice pub food. The side salad was horrible and anyway buried under the chips and steak - chips were absolutely delicious, steak was mediocre, matching the price though (£9.50 or so). Haven't tried their collection of ales, so worth going again. If you want a bit better food (taste, idea, layout) for a similar price, go to Woody's just 1 mile up the river.”
