The Waterside Unit 2 Riverside Tower, The Boulevard, Imperial Wharf, Fulham, London, SW6 2SU (Map)

They must have seen your reviewers coming. The service is always diabolical, the portion size is way too small. The food isn't that great. Go to enjoy the views and the booze and don't expect anything... More Atmosphere: Value: Quality:

“Despite its rather uninspiring location inside a hotel, Chino Latino manages to create a great atmosphere. The shared, tapas-style food makes it a great place to go with a group of friends. I couldn't fault the food at all, it was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. I would definitely go again.”

“Dear Sirs, I am what you called in the past "an overseas temporary member" since 4 october 1984. During my business activities for Glaxo, at that time, I had the pleasure coming regularly to your club. I enjoyed every moment of it, the atmosphere was great, the food was ok. Next time I come over I will definitely pay you a visit. I gave you 4 strats based upon past experiences. I hope I can give you a five star rating next time. Yours sincerely Alexander Nijs.”

“Ignore the review below. I went on a Friday and, although it took 5 mins to get served, it was worth it as I found out their happy hour was 50% off EVERYTHING! What a deal. And the DJ played all my requested songs. Will be back.”

“One of the old traditional pubs of London still going strong which is great to see. One of the best places to grab a seat is in the large window, can watch the world as it passes as you sip on your pint, a perfect pub.”

“Top strip bar. Free to get in and it's the ol' £ in the pint glass to watch beautiful, really beautiful girls strip totally nude on stage..... can't beat that for value. Pints are normal prices and atmosphere is good. Definitely up there as one of the best "gentleman's" clubs in London and open till 2am on a Saturday (not like another strip / lap dancing bar around the corner - midnight on a saturday!) I do warn you that the girls are stunning!”

“Trust the review up above because the ones below must be out of date. I remember the The Elusive Camel of old and that is now long since dead. A new Victoria cocktail bar has srpung up in its place and wow (!), what a difference. Gone are the pub sport screens and draught lagers. Now it’s all fancy designs and post-work chatter. Much improved.”

“Big portions, right opposite the Angel tube station, and it’s not too expensive either. Plus, they serve beer. Ideal post-pub Islington High Street fodder.”

“We found this pub almost by accident when we were waiting for the Eurostar in St Pancras station. I’m glad we did because it was a great British send-off - some proper posh nosh and a few old English pints before we left. The outside areas made it especially romantic because we could stare up at the magnificent architecture around us.”

“Great Brazilian restaurant where they bring out lashings of lovely grilled, skewered meat to your table and a hearty buffet to eat at your hearts content. Great, extensive wine list. Very busy last night, for a Thursday - but no lapse in the excellent service. Wonderfully cooked meats. Would definitely go again and again.”

“Best Thai restaurant in London? Definitely south London! The food is divine. Went for the Samui set menu (£20 pp) thinking that you had to choose from the choices on offer, but no, everything was included! The food was so delicious, mushroom and chicken soup was fantastic and even though we couldn't finish everything we could take it home in and i'm having it for lunch today! Highly recommended.”

“After reading all the reviews from 2008 I wasn´t sure about trying my luck at Jewel in Covent Garden, but a friend of mine that went there in April, told me that despite all these comments, it was a really nice bar. At the end, I decided to celebrate my birthday in there and I have to say that I have no regrets at all. Staff were really friendly and helpful with us (always with a smile). Talking with the PR, we found out that they changed the whole menu, and the new one, I have to admit that is affordable and tasty(inspired on spanish tapas yummi). In the middle of the evening, the hostess that guided us to our table came to ask if everything was ok, and she gave us a complimentary bottle of wine, as it was our first visit and my birthday(we were sold by that time). Later we found out that she wasn´t a hostess, but the Events Manager that usually socialise with the guests. Nice food, beautiful and interesting people, great atmosphere (with all these lights incense and candles) and we loved the service. I have been there more times after that, and every time that I call to book they remember who I am. We always feel very welcome, and that's weird to find it in London.”

“Atmosphere is good, but mainly made by the outside smoking area. Football was on last night, but thankfully not taking over the pub, just in one corner. Had the sausage & mash which was ok but not great and at almost a tenner i felt a little disappointed - burger & chips looked better on reflection.”

“I thought this restaurant was a fantastic place. It looked really good - nice art, with a slightly unusual modern style. I thought the tiger out front was fun! the food was out of this world and the staff really friendly and helpful when we asked for any explanations of the dishes. I especially liked the fact that we were not made to feel we had to dash off after we finished our meal, despite the fact we could see there were people waiting to be seated-in some places you can feel like they can't wait to get rid of you and serve the next lot of people. I really liked the Indian/Western fusion of the dishes, and thought it good that it wasn't just one curry after another-there was a good choice for everyone. My scallops were cooked beautifully, and the spinach and potato dumplings I had were delicious and lighter than I had expected, which was good as otherwise I would never have managed the home made kulfi I chose. This was extremely rich and creamy and the flavours of ginger & honey worked really well together. The wine was a bit pricey, but then we were treating ourselves, and I'm sure we could have got cheaper. Overall, I would recommend anybody who has a chance goes to this restaurant as I cannot think of anything I did not like about it and will go back again.”

“Good things about Ping Pong - good service with helpful staff, no booking required, stylish modern decor, delicious and imaginative drinks and cocktails, wonderful menu with so much to choose from, great atmosphere, good bar area, very affordable. Bad things about Ping Pong - none that I can think of!”

“Bar staff are friendly and attentive. Food is generally pretty good, though my lamb shank pie (which was a very generous portion!) was cold in the middle, my colleague's Steak pie with oysters was fantastic. Unusual selection of beers, with Hellis (spelling?) being the standard on-tap lager which was quite nice. Excellent wine list, amusingly laid out (am I a toff or a luvvie? I thought neither!) This is a great bar, marred only by it's narrow-ness. Not a problem during lunchime, but when it gets busy it can be a bit unfomfortable as people squeeze past you to the toilet or trying to get out the door.”

“Heathrow International Airport Terminal 5: not the first place you think of when considering a fine English gastro pub experience. Yet, here it is. Proper British nosh, excited atmosphere, stylish decor, worldly wine list, and reasonable prices. It's either this or an our spent sniffing your way around Duty Free. A no-brainer, really.”
