Cute venue, not great food or service though. Maybe recommended if you're just going to stay in the area drinking. More Atmosphere: Value: Quality:

“Challenging sound acoustic issues here, 3 rooms - The Central room throughout is overpowered by music from the other rooms. You might expect this at the edge of a room but not in the middle and throughout. Great staff and venue however let down by sound issues. The venue would probably be better operating in a 2 roomed format to help address this.”

“I went to Layalina Saturday the 8th of October. I had never experienced lebanese cuisine before and that was a great premiere. The staff was very friendly and attentive to my allergies. They made everything perfect. The food was just perfect. The waiter advised me to get a cold and hot mezze selection to share with my partner at least we could try a bit everything. That was so lovely. While we then had our main, a nice sea bass each (which I ate all although I had no room left), a belly dancer made her entrance into the room asking some hen party girls to dance with her. I enjoyed as much as the Hen lady. That's an unusual way of having a meal, but I loved it. The baklawa were wonderful as well. We ended our meal with some fresh mint tea and I would definitely go there again.”

“No price lists for drinks. Flat beer at crazy prices. No athmosphere at all. Glass door that does not stay closed. Staff eating their lunch at the bar counter. Out of stock of all sandwiches on day we were there, although we probably would not have been able to afford them anyway. For a micro brewery they did not have atheir own beer brewed yet. No toilet facilities either.”

“This place is little authentic take on spanish tapas bars is amazing.. the paired down but cool interior is just the start.. the food is sublime, really the best i've had this side of san sebastian.. but then you hit the wines and sherries or rather they hit you with their complexities.. an all round stunner.. will be returning..”

Suchard Thai Restaurant, London Bridge & Bermondsey (Restaurant)
“No sooner had the waitress taken our order than the food was delivered to our table (less than 2 minutes). Upon tasting both dishes, we realised the food was not hot. We attempted to get the attention of the waitress and several other members of staff, who seemed more concerned about stopping trick or treaters from entering the restaurant, than attending to us. When they finally came over, several minutes later, they refused to accept our complaint. They said the food had been sitting there for a while, to which we responded we had been trying to get their attention for some time and had not eaten any, other than 1 bite to discover it had not been cooked to an appropriate temperature. We asked for fresh dishes to be provided, knowing that re-heated rice is one of the most common causes of food poisoning, but they refused. Upon standing up to leave, without haven eaten, the waitress said in a raised voice, "stop complaining our food is hot". Outrageous!”

“Would have rated higher if the after care service was anything to brag about! Was a nice stay, helpful staff, odd smell on the stair way but it was over all Very clean, shame they double charged me and took £310 money from my account rather than the £195 I should have paid for the one night stay! (they ring fence £50 on check in incase the bar is used etc- Which was explained and I was happy to do, so instead of £145 to be charged, £195 was ring fenced) unfortunately my bank confirmed there were 2 separate authorisation codes and I was being charged £310! After 12-15 call s made (by me) to the hotel, I was told this was policy and even though I had been over drawn and charged for return direct debits they would t pay my £30 charges, instead they offered me £20 off my next stay, which I can confirm won't ever happen! I've also heard they leave their own reviews!! Real shame!”

“Something should be done about the front of this bar. It doesn't really give it the right impression. It looks a bit dated and dowdy when in reality what happens inside is anything but. Lots of cheesey fun had here surrounded by Clapham's more beautiful crowd, who are all up for the craic. Reasonably quick service at the bar too. Refreshing.”

“I was very pleased with what I ate at this restaurant with my family last week. There's enough variety for almost everyone (vegetarians will be disappointed) and the service is very attentive and fun. Speaking of fun, make sure you get a table that you can draw on. Loads of fun to be had there, even for adults. Great cheese selection too.”

“You cant fault the atmosphere at this restaurant. If you have kids then this is a perfect restaurant to bring them to. The whole place is kitted out with an array of cool animatronics, strobe and lighting effects, plus they have a special menu just for kids. And crayons. The service is also excellent but the prices and the quality of the food don't match the experience. Prepare to spend big as you exit through the gift shop.”

“I came here to watch the rugby world cup final. It was like a second home for Kiwis, the place was crawling with them. Which I absolutely loved. Long may they stay there! They made it such a great atmosphere. Love that it has so many different rooms and seating options. Especially the indoor-outdoor beer garden. More Shoreditch than The City.”

“These are my kinds of people. Arty, creative, music-loving types that seem to have eternal youth on their side. Hence I like to grab a lychee juice, a plate of green sides by itself, and just sit at one of the window stools staring out of the window, watching Shoreditch wandering by.”

“This place is all about presentation. The decor, the food, even the way that the staff are decked out, it's all meticulously measured and crafted. A delightful little hang out in the middle of Soho. The beef is outstanding. And if they're in season, try the soda-fried oysters: delicious and surprisingly light.”
