“I visited the little bar last week and had a fantastic time. The cocktails were amazing and the food overtook any 'bar snacks' I've had before. If you live in the area (or even if you don't) and haven't had the chance to visit yet, I heartily recommend that you do. I'm not sure there's anywhere friendly in South london.”

“I miss this place so much. It was the first comedy club I ever went to and still one of the best in memory. Tim vine as the compere were classic nights and the very sexy black lady going round with the tequila bandolier always made for some very interesting nights.”

“We ate here with our 2 children before seeing Matilda at the Cambridge Theatre. This restaurant is deceptive from the outside, having an attractive split level layout at the back. The food was typically and deliciously French. The staff we also very accommodating and fitted us in at the last moment without a booking. Highly recommended, especially for a pre-show meal.”

“Lovely pub, the outside area is a bonus and although its on the Uxbridge road you don't really notice it as the hedge blocks it. Food is excellent and although a tad pricy for pub food is recommended. Especially the ribs, delicious!”

“LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! Perfect venue to upgrade your regular drink scene. Candles light up the room in old fashioned candelabras and beautiful plush maroon curtains divides the back bar area from a private music area (I think I saw a private concert going on the last time I was there). Great beers spirits and cocktails and better than average whiskey collection. It's romantic and sophisticated, yet casual and accommodating. I will definitely be back soon and will continue to plan events here as well!!! Thank you for making our birthday night a great celebration!”

“We were out for dinner at Benares a couple of weeks ago for a friends birthday. We finished dinner relatively early and everyone fancied a bit of a dance after so we ended up at the Mayfair Club. None of us had been for a few years so weren't sure what to expect but we had an absolute blast. The welcome on the door was not the best and the host definitely thought she was a cut above the rest but the bar service was good, the music and DJs were amazing, playing really good, fun music all night. Everyone was really cool and we made loads of lovely friends. We even spotted a couple of celebs, well, not sure if TOWIE can be considered celebs but it was exciting at the time. Great night, great venues, great music.”
