“It would be higher if the staff stopped overcharging me by giving me a pound less than they say the change should be and, the beer heads are massive. Your Gross Profits must be amazing. It's a pint of liquid, not 30% froff ”

Riley's Sports Bar, Haymarket, St James (Bar / Restaurant)
“Paid £50 deposit for table near screens to watch two games of rugby, paid additional £25 for cold bucket of beers upon arrival.
Arrived, asked about the beers, admin mix up apparently and they thought only paid £25.
Questioned they eventually agreed, cold bucket of beers on their way I was informed by a grumpy unwelcoming waitress.
Beers turned up, not cold, not even slight bit of effort to be sat in the bucket properly.
Left after the first game of rugby and moved to O'Neils located round the corner which was lot better.
Front house lady that welcomes you in was lovely, reckon it's a good set-up inside with the pool tables set-up etc.
But wouldn't go back, miserable table service (the bouncers where more welcoming than the waitress), didn't get what I paid for and had to have a firm discussion about how much money I had paid upfront. ”

Gallipoli Cafe & Bistro, Angel & Islington (Restaurant)
“A huge " thank you to Gallipoli". On the 25 Dec 2016, it's my daughter's birthday. So I booked for my family dinner of about 10 celebrate Chanelle's birthday. The restaurant looks great and the staff were amazing, out standing, the 3 course meal was delicious. I would have liked a bigger choice in desert but having said that the service was very quick. The atmosphere was delightful, the decoration is trendy,it's a small and cosy. They made my daughters birthday extra special with the spotlight on my daughter. Definitely one of my favourite restaurants. I was blown away. We had a fantastic time. Not forgetting the manager who went out his way to make it my family feel special. ”

Platinum Lace, West End (Bar / Club)
“My wife and I last went to Platinum Lace around three years ago and were really pleased with it. HOWEVER Visiting on Friday night in January 2017 around midnight we found it had very much changed for the worst. Entry prices were £15 per person, we were shown immediately to a table and served by a waitress to drinks. A rum and coke and a bottle of beer was £24. Girls approached our table but were sent away by a girl sitting in the corner as it was seemingly her table. She came up and sat and chatted and the went through the price list. We opted for a one song private dance for both of us together at £20 each. Maybe it was down to the girl but she was very boring, didn't really seem like she could be bothered. Going back out we sat at a booth by the stage farthest from the bar to watch the stage. The girls really could not be bothered to dance on the stage, apart from one girl there was barely any movement or interest in the girls on stage and they plodded through a routine where they basically wandered around looking thoroughly miserable. Then we found that even though there were a lot of girls just sitting around the room they never approached us. We actually looked around to see if there was a sign stating by sitting there we wouldn't be approached so we could view the stage instead, but there was nothing to suggest that, the girls just wandered around making no attempt to come up and chat. As we were a male and female couple in there you can usual expect to get plenty of conversation with the girls and interest, but not this time ( you'll have to take my word for it that we aren't horrifically looking people and don't smell) The girls sitting around looked miserable and generally cheesed of with the whole thing. Normally you can obviously expect to have the girls come up to chat and take it from there, but there was no interest from them. The girls are the usual mixed bag, but largely attractive and something for everyone. Not sure if they had all been given some bad news but from how it used to be, lively, fun and easy bit of titilation it has now gone expensive and not somewhere I think we'd go to again.”

Cinnamon Lounge, Twickenham (Bar / Restaurant)
“Placed a delivery order at 5:57pm when the order turned up, the food was very salty, so I called them back immediately to tell them, he said at 6:37pm I'm sending a replacement order 45 minutes later I was still waiting for me order still to turn up. By this time my 3 naans are cold. My order turned up at 8:00pm by this time I wished I had placed my order elsewhere. No refund offered.. Please beware and check your food and delivery orders.. I only live 1 mile away from the restaurant, and we tend to order from there often, but I'm very very surprised of the service today. I don't think I'll be ordering from here again..”

The Honor Oak, Forest Hill & Honor Oak Park (Bar)
“On 24th January after having spent another night at the PPQ . People were commenting in conversation about the lack of atmosphere , quality of service and food . When the quiz had finished. I gave some feed back be it a bit stark about the lack of commintment by staff being unengaged with their roles in relation to customer service , and the night in general . Some comments were perhaps misplaced and I apologies for any added distress to the staff. Sadly my choice of spirit was not available or the second this night . Throughout staff looked nervous . I felt my opnion not valued. I believe its good to give feed back rather than make comments and chat among aquaintences and friends about the divide many people seem to have noted. My intention was not upset the staff but I responded to comments that had no back bone and could have been resolved in a friendlier manner. I am sure the staff have to follow the rules of the new management but this gravitates toward poor staff and customer relations . Nevertheless . I do hope the Honour Oak does well in the future and flourishes. Thank you for the work put in under the circumstances. Sincerely and with best wishes. Mary . Customer for 5 years approx. p.s. Have not seen any rewiews or comments on other sites for this year 2017. ”

2 Brydges Place, West End (Bar / Club)
“I totally love this place, its a bit old fashioned in a good time warp way with a feeling like being in a friends home but the food is better, it just feels safe and welcoming and you instantly feel a sense of belonging. Its very theatre, tv, music, arts oriented and I saw several known faces totally undisturbed and letting their guard down as no-one looked at them etc. This place doesn't even have a website! My friend who took me says its because they are a really private private members' club!”

“I spent New Year's Eve evening in this pub. There was a DJ playing excellent music all evening. There was no charge to enter this pub. The garden area had heaters to keep you warm. The pub owner had trays of food and sandwiches for his visitors. Myself, my sister and a friend were pleasantly surprised to receive nice bread and sandwiches. A lovely evening thank you to the owner and his lovely staff. ”
