How to ruin a once great pub. Used to use this old pub coz it was featured in several episodes of Minder. Was once a trad pub but now it's a wine and lager gaff with a no proper locals. Designed by... More Atmosphere: Value: Quality:

“I come down from Manchester every oncein a while to go to The Eagle. It's a fantastic night out especially if you don't like the Old Compton Street scene. Saturday nights at Carpet Burn are the best with some great music played by the DJ. Bar staff and customers are all very friendly with a fab dancy atmosphere. There's a large beer garden at the rear of the pub for smokers.”

“Friendly staff, weird and quirky design-the chairs are kinda old fashioned white. guy behind the till was quite funny err i guess i am writing this review because my gf loves this place and we always end up there saturday and sunday. They have some good breads but need a better deli selection. Lots of prams which can be noisy but usually its fine. i feel sorry for the staff having to clean up after some people though. try it out! good independent business!”

“forgot how great this bar is! I hadn't been for a while but will be going regularly now! the music was great and the bartenders are right on the mark with their cocktail making skills! the food was really good. I didn't come to eat but once i saw some food come out for someone else i had to order some. the venue just has this great vibe. it seems to fit every mood too; there were a couple of tables having a chilled out catch up over a bottle of wine and some food and also people dancing and partying by the bar. there was some great offers earlier on in the night too! looking forward to going back soon!”

“It is small and quite cramped especially when it gets busy, there no where to move. I had brief encounter with staff who was expectionally rude to me and my friends. I do not recommend this place at all. I just can't get over how rude he was, a really shame.”

“We had a booking at this restaurant for 7:45pm. I noticed halfway through our main meal that they close at 9pm. On the dot they started putting chairs on tables and washing the kitchen down with bleach which was most unpleasant. We were able to have a quicq coffee and then felt obliged to leave. We were with freinds who we had not seen for ages. So we went to Carlucchios and had more coffee and chat. Would I go to Fego again? NO”

“This is a lovely place to go and eat. The staff are pretty friendly, but you can't be homophobic. The food really is very homely, and scrumptious. It's not badly priced, and my boyfriend and I had a pretty romantic time with the fairy lights and music.”

Zenna Bar, Soho (Bar)
“Said I would rate Zenna after stumbling upon across this rare gem in Soho. Newly refurbished and sporting a fantastic and varied cocktail menu, it's first bar of it's kind specializing in Indian cocktails as far as I'm aware. The decor has an understated appeal and the lighting sets the tone for a great date or evening out with friends. It promised exotic, spicy Indian cocktails and certainly delivered! You can't get bored for choice at Zenna. The delicious snacks are prepared by the Red Fort Restaurant upstairs, a well reputed Indian restaurant. This complimented the drinks menu well, and we didn't wait long at all for the food. We reserved an alcove and were impressed with the service of the manager Dan and his friendly barstaff who looked after us very well. The DJ played a great mix of old school RnB and mainstream tracks, and has us dancing until 1am on Saturday night. We only wished it stayed open longer; had a great time and will definitely be back again for a fancy lassi soon!”

“it's the best grilled lamb I have ever eaten in London; the mezze's are better than my mum's, the staff are so friendly; especially Reza, erman and suleyman! I have to make a comment on the mojito and the northern lights; they are yummy, I had my birthday party of 40 people and it was a fantastic time for everyone, I would highly recommend.”

Dishoom, West End (Restaurant)
“dishoom was a big disappointment, we had a booking for 2 and we had to wait 2 hours for our table. We should have just left knowing that the food was not going to be as great as it claims to be. Our server was over stretched managing a number of tables so again we had to wait to be served. Our mains arrived before starters and drinks just arrived as we ordered our tea. The food wasn't exceptional- cold starters. Complete disorganization. The evening was nothing but a big let down, Dishoom is a indian restaurant trying to claim west end prestige but better off being located on your high street- at least with high street restaurants you know what to expect”

Lisboa Grill, Brixton (Restaurant)
“The food i have to admit is quite tasty, but if you expect to pop in and pick up a takeaway quickly you will be very dissapointed, i only ever have half a chicken and chips and i waited about 5minutes (today) to be served(there were no other customers waiting to order) and then about another 15-20mins before it was ready. The guys that work there look like they cant wait to finish, the guy that takes payment is constantly eating chips and ive never seen any of them wash there hands which has made me doubt my choice of eating place! Anyway enough moaning, but i would sum this takeaway as tasty food, very rude staff with a cant be arsed attitude, long waiting time and rather unhygenic!”
