A great place to eat after a tough days shopping! One of the best restaurants around if you're into hearty food. I really enjoyed eating here and would certainly go again. More Atmosphere: Value: Quality:

“The clue is in the name really. This boozer is on one of Camden's more famous streets, well known for its bar and pub nightlife. And only a short walk from the tube and The Electric Ballroom/Underworld clubs too. The staff are bit shouty come closing time though.”

“This is one of Camden's smallest pubs but it's also one of its best. Crammed full of indie Camden types, this little boozer is a good option for pre-Koko drinks, in favour of some of the more well known pubs around the area. A pint will set you back £3 and they have a nifty kitchen doing some top grub too.”

The Pineapple, Kentish Town (Bar)
“Excellent local pub, possibly the best in Kentish Town. Lots of locals, but the atmosphere is always welcoming. Appealingly off the beaten track and a good Thai food menu rounds out the experience.”

“I eat in a lot of pubs and I'd heard everyone raving about this place. I'm pleased to report all the praise was justified. Often when I go to these places, there's only a couple of things I like the sound of on the menu. At the Bull & Last, I pretty much wanted to try everything! My husband and I went here for our wedding anniversary dinner and, while on the one hand, it is just a gastro pub, on the other, the excellent staff and delicious food make it feel pretty special. I was only sorry I wasn't hungrier! Will definitely be back.”

Blue Moon Thai Cafe, Kentish Town (Restaurant)
“A good little local Thai place. I have found the quality of the food varies a bit and sometimes you really have to search for that one piece of chicken in your green curry, but when they're on form, it's a tasty treat.”

Bar Lorca, Kentish Town (Bar / Restaurant)
“I'd always avoided Bar Lorca, thinking it looked a bit of a dive. However, I went there recently for a drink after work and it's really nice! They do tapas style snacks as well, which I'd like to try next time, as I do plan on going back...”

“I went to the opening party for Pizza East and we were served up a large selection of dishes. From a cheese board starter to a pizza featuring truffle oil cheese, it was all absolutely delicious. A cool new venue in the East End.”

“Great service and food. Lovely selection of Dim Sum which we shared for starters. Went for a friends birthday and management and staff helped create a great evening. Couple of vegetarians in our group and lots of options for them too.”

“Totally disappointing... the place was buzzing, full of people and as such the staff were in no mood to help us find a seat. They were quicker to show us the door than a couple of couches near the fireplace. Once we had a spot though things didn't much approve. We ordered and 25 minutes later were told that they had run out of one of the requested meals. The next option was also out of stock. Another 40 mins passed when our cold food arrived. Not terribly impressed to say the least...”

“In terms of the choice of pubs around hammersmith this pub ain't too bad but it lacks character. Food is nice but expensive and as a smoker its good that its got the huge heaters out the front.”

“A quirky pub in between Kensington High Street & Notting Hill. Lots of character & the sausages aren't half bad mum! Beer garden can be packed.”

Mama Calabar, Wembley (Restaurant)
“Nice environment, well furnished, and modern Nigerian restaurant in the heart of London. Staff quick in attending to us upon arrival. The only downside was the the approximately 90 minutes wait for my order-a barbequed croaker which was far overpriced (£25) against their online menu advertised to be £6. I will advice that this well known restaurant improve on waiting time. Update their online menu prices to avert the hammer of the trading standard!!! lol”

“A party of seven of us went here last night. One member of our group was late and so they wouldn't seat us. This was no major catastrophe however as we simply milled about the bar drinking cocktails (the Bloody Maria is bloody brilliant!) When our straggler id arrive it was still a half hour wait for a table but worth it. The food was fabulous and with so many options to choose from (plus an amazing tequila menu - e.g. pear and chocolate flavoured tequila!) it's very easy to get carried beyond your buget! Be warned!”

“On a gorgeous sunny day, this is a prime location for some outdoor sunglass wearing. And the food and wine aren't too bad either. One of the best alfresco dining options in central London. A people-watching paradise.”

Duke of York, Bloomsbury (Bar)
“An oasis on a quiet corner in Bloomsbury, this pub combines fine dining with a good pub atmosphere. Unfortunately you cannot sit in the dining area so space is at a premium at the bar, but they do open up the downstairs if it gets too busy. The bitter selection is adequate as is the rest of the drinks. The real beauty of this pub is its location, you really feel like you have discovered somewhere off the beaten track.”
