“Yet Another American based and funded restaurant Chain selling pictures from Rio De Janeiro and overtly expensive fusion food on the hype generated by the TV series Sex and The City. Selfish, stingy, short sighted hire and fire attitude towards superbly skilled hard-working staff it's clashing with the pretended grandeur of the restaurant, also be aware that tips and service charge are used to pay breakages in the kitchen. Compared to the established high class alternatives in central London this one fails.”

“I love this tiny bar. It's not just for beer drinkers and people who are waiting for their train. Anyone who works in the area should get in on the action too. Plus, the small alfresco spaces mean that, when the sunshine is out, it can provide a nice little haven in the midst of so much chaos. The range of beers, ales, stouts, lagers, bitters, and porters is magnificent.”

“The downstairs bar itself is reasonably good, boasting some interesting drink options (like the American Blue Moon wheat beer). Fairly laid back vibe, cheery service, enjoyable music. The real bonus though is the roof terrace right at the top. A tiny little alfresco space, best used before about 7pm in the summer to make the most of the sunshine. I went here on a first date, had a great time, and we're looking at a second date. It must have done the trick then.”

“I wish this was my local! I always go for the Earl Grey gin cordial but now it's summer I think I'll try the Summer Cup. I'm a bit obsesed with their Salt Beef dishes (especially the sandwiches) and always go for the Cherry Jam Roly Poly (because I'm a retro gal!)I love the atmosphere, particularly in the summer when everyone heads to the garden. My friends and I try to squeze into the little hut lit up by fairy lights - it's like our own boozy Wendy House!”

“My only complaint about this pub is that it's not in Clapham! I want it to be my local. Food is great and the service is always with a smile - you have to try the Scotch Egg - must be one of the best in London. A fab place with real charm and live music too!”
