“I arranged our end of company party on Thursday 15 September and Hannah was brillant with allowing all my last minute changes, bringing forward the BBQ time, putting up bunty decorations, bringing in our own cake and allow people to exchange their voucher for a drink at the bar. The comments I received back from people the following day were really positive and that they thoroughly enjoyed them. Allowing us to put up our own bunty (which was pictures throughout the years at Postcomm) was a great tlking point. The staff even collecting and kept all our bunty and the reminder of our cake on the following morning. A big thank you to evryone. It was a great evening.”

“Fantastic spot to indulge in naughtily delicous cocktails, such as the Milky Way Martini, and bop the night away to both modern and retro musical beats. Zebrano's is also a great place to go if you fancy relaxing with a couple of after work drinks, expecially on Tuesday when they host their own version of the Wheel of Fortune where you can win a vast array of fabulous prizes. It really is a tremendously fun packed evening!”

“the ambience is Very continental, it's like taking a holiday from the UK. It could not be better. It has a family atmosphere and caters for/and serves sweets etc for children. MAKE IT A MUST VISIT. The spirits it serves is 3 times an english measure, and only costs 1.80.They will serve you food that is not on the menu, in short they will do everything and anything to make you feel at HOME, without making you feel uncomfortable,(or)that you are putting them to any trouble. it's a home from home. make it a must VISIT.”

“I used to know this place as Akbar from years ago, and so when a friend invited me down I was quite surprised that I recognised the bar. The colour is different, that I'm not so fond of, but everything else is absolutely incredible. The food and drinks are absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was electric and everyone had a really great night out. I think I found my new local...?”

“Had a great night at North London's Kennedy's bar. The atmosphere is welcoming and the venue looks nice and feels good inside. The jive night on the 2nd Saturday of the month is excellent and the music is out of this world.”

“The effusive review written above gave us enough confidence to visit this new restaurant just round the corner from home. I am thankful that we did venture in as the food is remarkably good, the service spectacular and the atmosphere very cosy. Great local restaurant that will now become one of our regular dinner spots”

“Food was ok, but the service was extremely poor, we had one girl who didn't get our order correct and we continuously had to say "we didn't order this", we had one two many drinks and didn't check the receipt correctly (fault of our own, but wasn't expecting to be ripped off) but we were incorrectly charged for 4 things we did not order, not only this but we specifically told them this but we were still charged. If you want to be ripped off go to Casa Brindisa, not only this we didn't even have a chance to tell them this as they DO NOT have there correct contract details at the top of the receipt. Very poor. I will never head here again.”

“Overall not very impressive. The won ton soup was OK, the won ton dumplings were nice but the soup wasn’t very hot. The dim sum was good, and a fair price. Make sure you get there before 5pm though, as they stop serving at around 4:45pm. The duck for the duck pancakes was tasty, but they brought a tiny amount of cucumber and spring onion and not enough pancakes, and then charged for extra of both! The service varied greatly from waiter to waitress, with some being very friendly and helpful, but others being downright surly and forgetful. The sweet and sour chicken was awful and crunchy with the meat not being very good quality, so we actually left it.”

“I visited that hyper-pretentious pub today and ordered a coffee from their selection of 100% organic fairtrade arabica menu!!!. All very well, but it would be more important to learn how to make coffee!!! The milk was burned beyond recognition giving it that unpleasant smell of burned milk. As a result I've seriously burned my tongue!... I asked for another coffee as the one I was served was undrinkable and while I was waiting for someone to go to the shop and buy milk (!!???!!!!!???) and while a friendly member of stuff offered me some ice water to soothe my burned tongue, I was approached by the 'manager' who in a very cocky way 'informed' me that "coffee is hot mate!". That attitude epitomises the whole place and the total disrespect for their customers... It suggests that I was wrong in my coffee knowledge and tastebuds and that coffee 'should' be as the boiling brown liquid they are offering... The milk in espresso based coffee should be at 60 C. Milk starts burning at 80 C. I found his attitude not only extremely unprofessional but also insulting as I was asked to leave upon my request for details in order to inform the management about the staff attitude. - I appreciate that the stuff needs training in making what they would like to offer in their menu. A pseudo-intellectual decoration (with books and chalkboards and signs about organic produce) means nothing if they are unable to deliver. They should also be informed that customers can be forgiving about a staff mistake, but we shall not tolerate cockiness or insults!... They might as well offer instant coffee... I hope they can boil a kettle without setting fire to their customers!....”

Monto Water Rats, Kings Cross (Bar / Club)
“Great Venue, Great Music, Great Crowd. I just played a gig at the Rats last night and I was very happy with the operation they run. The place has a cool vibe and as a performer they treat you very well. Although I'm sitting here, typing a full day later, with my ears still ringing! Monto Water Rats had an unexpectedly friendly, neighborhood-y vibe. The bouncers warmly greeted and chatted with my friend, a regular there. There's a nice separation between the music venue and the rest of the pub, so naturally it's less likely to have people spilling drinks everywhere and if you don't feel like listening to one band, you can retreat to a quieter place. As for the music venue itself, there's a good amount of space, spare seating and a raised platform for people in the back. IT's a considerate venue. Well worth a visit.”
