“The platters are absolutely to die for! Don’t think that you’ll order one because there so much choice, you’re gonna have to order more! All nicely washed down by one of their infamous Mojitos!”

“Came to London for my friend's birthday and just had to check out The Brompton Bar and Grill's Absinthe Bar. Had an amazing night - so much fun using the fountain and the cocktails were great value for money! Will definitely be returning!”

Happiness Forgets, Shoreditch (Bar)
“Dark but dingy, this basement cocktail bar in Hoxton Square has the appeal of a dive bar almost. I can imagine get slowly slaughtered in here whilst the world goes about it's business outside. The table service is a good idea. It means there's more time for chit-chat (no queuing at the bar). The usual Shoreditch crowd is happy hanging out here.”

Proud Cabaret City, City of London (Restaurant / Club)
“I was at Proud Cabaret last night. It was a full house in there, and the atmosphere was great. Our food was served very quickly given how busy it was. The food was really good, especially the Mussels starter. The acts were thoroughly entertaining and Abi was hilarious. It was worth every penny and definitely a venue for all, couples, girlfriends and friends.”

Pizza Metro, Clapham (Bar / Restaurant)
“Worst place ever. Waiter could not speak English, everything ordered wrong. They didn't tell us that all the bread they where supplying on tap they where charging us for. When my shared pizza 4 of us came out I only had 3 slices, & a bottle of Pinot is £20. Don't go here!”

Wine & Bread, Brent Cross & Hendon (Bar / Restaurant)
“We have been there for dinner for 2 and for a birthday lunch at their special venue, morroco's style and every time we have been there, Marcia and Kadir made possible that we feel at home but with an amazing food from Portugal. The atmosphere is divine, their hospitality and service excellent and the food as well. Definitely for recommendation to all our friends.”

Baranis, City of London (Bar)
“extensive wine list, incl corsican wines which I would have loved to try but didn't, and apparently also a provencal focus in terms of food not only wine - the french fried I had were delicious. Recommend to go - just not on Bastille day 14 July as it gets very crowded and loud, french loud :)”

“An excellent range of Fuller's ales. A nice, large walk around bar. Probably the grandest entrance to any pub in England. And the decor is also very opulent. Friendly service too.”

Baranis, City of London (Bar)
“What a great little hidden gem of a bar. Loving all the little alcoves and the 1960s feel. A bit of a wait at the bar but then a game on the indoor petanque court made up for that. Very popular with French people, which is a good sign. And the fries: best fries I've ever had in London.”

Azzurro, Waterloo (Bar / Restaurant)
“We tried this restaurant for the first time the other week and now. Go here every week and we all love the place , we have never encountered any problems, and the foods has alway been fantastic, yes it can be a little slow at times but what do you expect in a very packed restaurant on a sat night!! never more than 20 min wait though, some people are just too dam fussy LOL. We love the feel of the place too under the rail way arched just adds to the atmosphere!"! would definatly recommend !!”

JuJu Chelsea, Chelsea (Bar / Club)
“I went to Ju Ju for a friends birthday and not having been before was very impressed with the place, its beautiful inside with cool wall lighting and very friendly.
My friend had booked a table and we were really looked after, much dancing ensued and we all had a fabulous night.
Suffice to say my girlfriend had a great birthday and i will definately be going again!
Have to mention the food too, we only had a few bits but what we had was really good, a pan asian vibe and very tasty!”
