“Considering the cost, the food is not completely out of this world amazing. However, the standard is still very high (especially recommend the pork belly). Good points: the fantastic service, the large tables, the buzzy atmosphere and the gargantuan wine list. Downside? the decor. WTF?!”

“Outstanding! Easily the best I've found - would go no where else now. Non pushy, friendly, girls with a great sense of humour and fun. Very reasonable drinks too!”

“Went there on Saturday night and the place was heaving! Had a really good time. Thought the music was different to what the rest of Clapham was playing (note the distinct lack of continuous funky house!) which is a nice change. Will be back for sure...”

“I went last night with a group of friends. I have never salsa'd before, but I definately will be in the future! Great venue, great atmosphere, and some brilliant dancing. Lots of people wanting to show you just how its done!! Very busy tho, not much space on dance floor.”

“Absolutely fantastic restaurant. My boyfriend and I treat ourselves once a month as the wine and food menu is fantstic. Although, not regular customers in the strict sense of the word, we are always made ro feel really special. The food is fabulous and we always walk away feeling truly satisfied. The staff recognise people who appreciate good food and wine. Those people who mark it low are clearly not appreciative of "Italian" Dining i.e. there is time between courses. Great restaurant with a fabulous atmosphere and great prices.”

“What an AMAZING venue! I didnt even know it existed and I live just around the corner - a real diamond in the rough! Its a cross between a massive medieval castle and church on the outside (and with the worlds largest courtyard garden!) and recently refurbished inside looks amazing too - loads of different spaces for chilling out, having dinner or drinks with cosy bunkettes/couches/tables - great for any occasion really. Had a fantastic night with great food, great wine, really friendly fun staff and an awesome atmosphere - would definitly recommend checking it out!”

“I must say that there's nothing similar in its innovative approach to decor anywhere near the many countries that I have been visiting. Glamorous and inspiring. A piece of art. I heard that it was created by students from Royal College of Arts, London. I am certain that the people who wrote that the food was less than tasty have no knowledge and appreciation for the authenticity of Russian food. I enjoyed it. It's definitely worth trying! It's an experience that challenged all my senses.”

Momo, Mayfair (Bar / Restaurant)
“We wanted to celebrate our anniversary in style and decided to head to the famed Momo to see if it lived up to its reputation and it certainly did. The restaurant is wonderfully atmospheric and felt a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of central London. For starters, I went for the crispy sardines (so delicious) and for my main course, a great chicken couscous. My other half had the chicken tagine - another hit. We washed down our food with a tasty Moroccan red called El Baraka Réserve. A great meal and a memorable anniversary.”

“One of the best Indian restaurants in London, the variety of flavours and dishes is amazing, the selection of dips and pappadums at the start is tantilising, the portions are generous and filling without leaving that nasty spicy aftertaste. The waiters are very friendly and knowledgable about the dishes. Top class!”

“Apt is the worst club you can go to, the bussers walk around with red buckets collecting the glasses it gives the club such a poor image and not to talk about taking the rubbish out between the customers,it's a shame and they call this a stylish club???”

Cafe Espana, Soho (Restaurant)
“Cafe Espana is one of those hidden gems that if you were just walking past you might blink and miss it. Always really busy with people waiting on the street for tables, you won't mind the wait when they bring you a complimentary glass of bubbles or vino! Firstly I must say, one of the best features of Cafe Espana is the service. Run by friendly Spaniards from northern Spain, its really like your local friendly Spanish restaurant but hidden in the heart of Soho. The tapas is great and paella BIG and very tasty. The wine list is small but being in the restaurant reminds you of being in Spain (well except for the temperature) so it's all good. Make friends with the waiters and they will treat you like a Queen (or King). I'll be back... Estaré detrás”

“Its a very nice pub, however I would not rush back to eat. We recently had Sunday lunch in there in the room at the back. The music was so loud we had to ask for it to be turned down three times and it was hard core rock. Not the most appropriate music for lunch time. We waited a long time for our food, however when it did arrive it was very good. However the loud music and the fact the room was very hot would put me off going back.”
