“I have eaten here before and the food was ok however on the last occasion we turned up for the pre 5.00 offer which is pretty good in London. However, despite being there at 4:45 and having to go and get a waiter at 4:55 the waiter appeared at the table exactly at 5:00 to tell us that the deal had finished. I have seen the reviews on other sites and it seems to be a common thread. Food is ok, service is terrible. If you do persevere with this Restaurant I would watch your bill. As the waiter would not budge on his opinion we did not sample the food and are unlikely to visit again.”

“Guys I enjoy going to gentleman's clubs and am totally respectful of the ladies that work there. Alway polite, friendly and working hard to keep up conversation and make you feel welcome. Unfortunately tonight I was severely let down by one of the dancers who after agreeing a 40 something for forty demanded £60 for the dance. Of course I said that wasn't the agreement but was happy to pay the £40 as promised. As you can imagine nobody was happy and I got bounced out. Fair enough some might say because there are many chancers out there but not me. Yes we were in scruffy jeans and jumpers so we looked like easy prey but with £4k watches on our wrists come on, do we need to try pinch on £20. My main issue was not that the young lady was exercising some misguided sense of control to get me booted out but come on to say I wouldn't pay because I was a racist South African... that's a step to far. Couple of nice guys from the club clearly understood the situation and explained that these things just happen in London's gentleman's clubs as if they had seen it all before and a couple of not so nice guys who said they would refund the chips I bought... guess what? Yip after handing over the chips, they were suddenly non refundable. Muppet you might think but this club in right on Piccadilly Circus and trys to promote itself along side Spearmint Rhino. The behaviour of the dancer and the bouncer was what you would have expected in a back street Soho club from the mid eighties. What a let down and for no reason at all. We were there to have a good time and spend our cash honestly. No class at Platinum Lace. Money would be better spent at one of those pound in the glass places”

Cinnamon Spice, Romford & Hornchurch (Restaurant)
“My husband and I went on a wet miserable night in October after receiving one of their leaflets through the door. This restaurant is a real find. Not only was it really, really low cost, under £40 for full 5 course meal and wine but also so amazingly tasty. The interior is what you expect for an older, local indian but the food, OMG, was so amazing, I am a really fussy indian eater and I loved this place, we can not wait to return.”

“I had previously gone to Georgios several times, the previous restaurant which could be hit and miss. This venue holds sentimental values to me as I had my first date with my husband here and that was the same night we decided to get married. We went in to The Brickyard on our 18 month wedding anniversary in October. We had not booked and there were four in our party. Luckily we were fitted in without too much of a wait at the bar. The choice and quality of wines was fantastic, so much so we drank 5 bottles. The menu was different to what we expected but even with 2 picky eaters in the group we easily chose our meals. the meal itself was cooked to perfection and for the first time out in a very long time I was not disappointed with the quality. The service was consistent, friendly and helpful. A staff member even recognised us from before. the music and atmosphere was great but it did get alot louder around 10pm which is good if you do not want to talk to your dinner guests. I have since returned more times and each time it has got better. I especially love the live bongo and sax players at the weekend. If you want a lively night without having to go in to romford then the weekends at Brickyard are perfect, there is a club downstairs to which diners get priority. The surroundings are beautiful, the finish is amazing, there is nothing else like it locally.”

“Nice pub with all the usual Geronimo characteristics. Good service, eclectic furniture, low lighting and good selection of beer. Not a destination pub but worth going to if in this area of West London (or if you're going to the theatre upstairs).”

“A good place to go out for a few drinks without paying huge prices but being Dalston the atmosphere is sometimes a little bit too East London stuffy for me. Bar staff made up for it though and were surprisingly friendly though and I like the look of the place and the subby holes you can sit in”
