“I went there in September 2014 and had one of the most amazing times of my life. A buddy of mine tried to go there we we're initially were denied entry b/c it has a semi professional dress code ( buttoned up shirt / jacket / and tie entry ). We had just arrived and t-shirts and jeans on. We were told by the security guard to come back in 15 - 30 minutes and he would talk to the manager to see if he would allow us into his establishment. We wound up going to some hole in the wall strip club somewhere down in the Soho district. After about 15 minutes of being at that strip club we just got up and left. The women there looked like they were 50 years old and came straight from the amazon jungles. Ogre type looking women. We wound up going back to the Windmill and eventually they allowed us to enter. Upon entry we we're immediately ushered to the V.I.P. lounge and we're provided complimentary drinks. After pounding our drinks down we we're taken inside of the main area of the strip club where we we're greeted by some of the most beautiful women in this world of all nationalities. Mind you've I've traveled all over the world and have seen all types of beautiful women. Every girl that I talked to that night was extremely friendly and very very attractive looking. We we're escorted to a secluded section of the club and had multiple beautiful women attend our needs. After a few drinks and talking to a few of the ladies there I partook in quite a few lap dances in the upstairs section. Needless to say without divulging too much information; I received wonderful lap dances with multiple dancers at the same time. The manager was extremely helpful and also made sure to stop by multiple times to make sure I was enjoying myself. Overall the club itself was very nice. The drinks were spot on. I can not say enough about the women there. I intend on going back and truly hope that I will receive the same treatment. If any other person frequents this establishment. I hope they receive the same type of treatment that I received during my time there. I've been to many destinations, red light districts, and strip clubs in my time. The Windmill definitely left a great impression with me. Can't wait to go back.”

“Disappointing - style over substance (1) Coffee was nasty and acidic (2) Rude, obnoxious, stroppy staff. Take these people to a Pret or Itsu or somewhere else with exemplary staff training and show them how its done. (3) For god's sake put the pastries under glass or cellophane or something instead of leaving them out all day for dust and dirt and people sneezing, coughing and breathing over them. The only positive thing I can say is that the decor and design is quite unusual, although it looks better from the outside than from the inside. QUICK TIP: The following day I went to a little unpretentious coffee shop just across the road from this place. Lovely smooth beautiful coffee (served by a pleasant polite gentleman). The best coffee always happens in unexpected places.”

“This used to be a great pub you bother match visitors and locals alike, now it doesn't fit either category. The staff are nothing short of rude, the prices are eye watering, unfortunately the food isn't. I will be avoid this at all costs.”

“The good reviews on this site were posted several years ago before the pub changed management. Now it's badly run, with poor customer service and even worse customer relations. The place is very overpriced for its location and the food is poor to fair. I would not call it the great experience it once was as its lost all character.”

“my wife and I were treated to food & drinks all afternoon in 2014 for our birthday, we found it by chance and it looked a nice place, before going to the theatre. Staff were very pleasant, food excellent, we had good old fish& chips gorgeous, the beer was very well kept, after our meal, we all fell into a comfy sofa, listened to the music and drifted off, had a few more drinks, and honestly, none of us wanted to leave. I wish this place was closer to where we live, would be in it every day,”

“This delicious little find was the score of our day! Absolutely gorgeous luxury breakfast with pillowy poached eggs for the Benedict, crispy lovely apple pancakes, and croquet to die for. The wait staff was friendly and genuinely proud of their product and so appreciative of our delight and praise! The vanilla croissant was a Creation from above. We loved the presentation on the take away bar and the attention to design in the display, food and the ambience. Wish they would come to LA where they would be mobbed as an instant hit! A must see and taste without question!”

“The food quality was good but the quantity of the food was not enough. You pay everage £14 for a single dish and the food is not really enough for one person. I paid more then £14 for chicken and got six cubes of chicken with big pieces of tomato and onion. Moreover, no salad or sauce was served, very limited choice of soft drinks. We have to eat again from takeaway after dining at Sheba. They need to increase the quantity of the food. Service was good.”

“We had our Christmas dinner 19th December @ the Running Horse (Harvester) Maidstone. I was supporting adults with a learning disabilities and it felt as though we wasn't there having our Christmas dinner. I was so embarrassed because I had arranged this Christmas event. 1. The waitress didn't ask if we waited any drinks 2. Very little if any interaction with people in the party. 3. Couldn't hear the music.I ask for some Christmas music but the sound was to low we couldn't hear it. 4. No Christmas crackers on tables. I asked about some but was told "we haven't ordered any this year due to cut backs".”

“The worst experience ever! Rude staff shouting at you because you have asked for the card machine receipt and they couldn't provide it. We have ordered hot drinks and cakes and the cakes were served 20 min after the drinks. Instead of having an toffee cake with apple pieces as said on the menu, we had a toffee cupcake with cream on top and no traces of apples. My jasmine tea was actually a jasmine flavored green tea. The staff has no manners at all, no clue about customer service or the menu they are serving! Avoid this place if you don't want to ruin your day!!!”

“We didn't eat in the restaurant but instead ordered a takeaway. How this indian restaurant has been categorised as a 'top 10' food destination I have no idea. The delivery took 1 hour 45 minutes to arrive - after being advised that it would be 60 minutes. The curry was luke warm, and everything else was soggy. The lamb was inedible, and it's one of those restaurants where everything looks the same colour. The restaurant manager seriously needs to consider working in another industry. I was told that if it's not their fault if there's traffic, and that if the food was cold that I could send it back, and that was it. Very pricey for a less than average indian takeaway.”
