Appalling place!!! No sooner had I stepped into the entrance to the club I was met by an extremely miserable and simply rude woman. When I tried to make small talk she snapped at me "I told you to just... More Atmosphere: Value: Quality:

“I loved it there, i went to the branch in Green Park for Sunday Lunch with friends and got to first name terms with the manager there (Stuart) he was lovely and the staff very smiley and professional. Was surprised at the size of the portions of food, they were quite large which is good for what you pay for, i would reccommend eating at henry's, and the cocktails were fab too!! Great place.”

“A very worthy modern pub with very old school style. Love the real fireplace and the pitures from a local artizan. The menu is very high quality and the burgers are excellent. Staff are extremely friendly. The highlight is the huge garden at the back.”

“A remarkable makeover has transformed this once quiet and uninspiring Greek restaurant into one of the West End's most impressive night spots. A resident jazz band plays every night apparently, and when we were there last weekend, we were truly blown away. Everyone, and I mean everyone was dancing, plates were being smashed in true Greek style, and though very much a Greek evening and crowd, it had a feel of Little Italy in Soho - another of my favourites. Only had some small mezze dishes as we were not massively hungry, but all were fresh, tasty and well prepared. Bravo Elysee, 10 out of 10!”

“Many people believe Tayyabs is the best Pakistani restaurant in London. I think it's definitely up there, but not possibly the best. It's certainly popular. We reserved a table for 12 on a Tuesday night and we still had to wait in line for half an hour. It's insanely busy in there. The service is great though and the lamb chops are legendary (my main reason for going really). But I did find some of the food a tad greasy and I couldn't help thinking that there must be better curry restaurants in London. I might stick with Tooting next time.”

“Was there with a party of 8 last weekend and we had such a fun night! It was packed - people were dancing on tables, a great live band played Greek (and Arabic?) songs until around 3.30am, some amazing singers, plates smashing around us.. Such a breath of fresh air from the usual overpriced and snooty rubbish you get in the West End. It's apparently re-opened after a massive refurbishment, and I've got to say it's very impressive, even as London standards go. Would very highly recommend the Elysee to all!”

“I booked well in advance for my son's 21st. In fact in July for Saturday 25th September 2010. I was assured there would be a Dj and dance floor for the evening's event. It was particularly for the disco party bit that made me book here and was clear about this point to management. My experience of the night was appalling. The management was pathetic and service shambolic. In between courses the food took ages coming and when it did it was not sufficient to cater for our party of 31 and one complete table got missed off altogether . I had to work very hard ensuring all my guests had the right and enough food. Consequently I could not relax or enjoy my food. I had phoned the manager on Friday the 24th September to confirm my booking and that I would be using the dance floor to party right up to closing time. It was at this point the manager informed me there was another party booking for the same evening. I expressed my concern of having to share the party floor when I was rest assured that the party floor was big enough for both events plus more. While my group was eating we had to endure some very loud and lengthy speeches from the other group which we found intrusive as we could not hear ourselves speak to one another. When my son’s cake came in management did not see fit for a birthday announcement to be made despite requesting it. Later I realized this was because management were putting all their resources into the other group which was over 60 in number and ordering booze all night. Once we had finished our meal a few ladies and children got onto the dance floor at which point a woman from the other group took the microphone from the Dj and told my guests to get off the dance floor as she claimed she had booked the Dj for the night. 15 - 20 minutes went past leaving me and my guests humiliated and cross. I had to approach the manager to ask why this has happened and all he could do for the next 10 minutes was apologize. I asked him to tell the woman to apologize on the microphone which she did not and instead management spent the rest of my important night arguing about the bill in front of my guests and yes on came the bouncers. Given that I had required the entertainment and thus made the booking, it became evident that management did not tell the other party that there would be another group in and tried their upmost to marginalise my party and dismiss us as soon as we paid. There was no customer service or duty of care demonstrated and in fact the manager started raising his voice angrily. This was a rip off evening! Minus zero rating!”

“Wow! We ate in the restaurant on Saturday evening and had read all the reviews and had high hopes which were surpassed! What a fantastic restaurant- so friendly. The hosts are superb, the food is fantasic, the atmosphere and setting are unique and we all had a fabulous time and experienced some great food tastes too- The home made humous and the pomegranite, aubergine and yoghurt was a great starter served with soft pitta bread . We also had stuffed vine leaves. We were about to have a seperate starter each and the proprietor suggested we had an assortment to experience the different tastes and we were so glad we did! My partner had the lamb meatballs and myself and my daughter had the chicken gus- all tasted even better than they looked. We will definately return to the Mesopotanium next time we are in Wembley. If only we lived nearer! Thank you so much for a wonderful evening that was topped off by seeing Micheal Bubble from! the front row”

“I've never experienced such unreasonable behaviour from the door staff. I went here for a friend's birthday and got there about ten to nine yet they claimed it was 9 and charged us £10 each to get in after some arrogant and unpleasant behaviour. The bar service was slow, the toilets were disgusting and the whole atmosphere was ruined by the horrible staff.”

San Miguels on the River, Battersea (Restaurant)
“Used to use 1 or 2 weekly, every week over 12 months whilst staying in Battersea and never had an indifferent meal. Not very popular during the week presumably owing to its location with the result that the place was never very busy, atmosphere could therefore be lacking but service better than most and extremely obliging, effective and friendly without being overly so. Recommend.”

“Don't eat here...if you walk past during the day the chicken is cooking all day and yet when you get near the bone it is blood red! The staff are rude...if you order for pick-up they will pretend your order is ready (hottest sauce) and then serve you 2 chickens cut which would not equal 1 whole nandos chicken!. Bottom line is you think you get more than Nandos when you don't!. Steer clear if you want value for money and spicy chicken go to Nandos or elsewhere!”

“Just a horrible place to go now. Used to be the place to be but now Bar Soho on Compton street is the cool place to go as it is half price drinks 7 days a week from 5pm - 8pm. The lady manager is the problem and is self serving to herself and her tip aggresive bar staff. the toilets should close the place down by westminster council it is like a free sauna that smells like a barn of pigs and goats. shame but the management for the last 4 - 5 yrear have ruined this once lovely classy place . 1 dec 2010”

“I got a VIP table at RS Lounge on Saturday night for my birthday with 9 of my friends and we had an absolute ball. On top of the music, people and atmosphere being fantastic, the staff were more than helpful and treated us extremely well. Definitely recommend a night out at RS Lounge, especially in the VIP section. Loved it!”

“I discovered this little traditional pub a few years back one summer evening. I found the landlady and staff to be very welcoming and even bought me a drink. I have just started popping in there now at least once a week now that im living in the area and its a great little place that gets busy with all kinds of people from locals to city workers. The kronenbourg they have on tap is icey cold and goes down nicely.”
