“Perfect for sunny Sunday afternoon drinks. Even though the outside drinking area out the front is big it gets busy quickly and stays crowded for pretty much the whole day. The usual Parson's Green crowd but good drinks and great position.”

“Dropped in here for the first time over the weekend for a pint and the pub could easily become a regular haunt. Good atmosphere, good drinks, nice layout with the only criticism being the smallness of the beer garden at the back, once the tables have been taken there is no-where to sit or stand! A good proper boozer which is pulling me back for a good session....”

“Peter's review may have been true 5 years ago but when we went here, we found the pub to be delightful! Thursday evening and yes, it was full due to the smallness in it's size, but the atmosphere was welcoming and the staff were good. Shame there is no outside area other than the pavement to stand on. The pub feels like a pub should and we recommend!”

“I started with calamari chunks which were cooked really well, then moved on to a rice bowl with prawn and crab, which had a really nice garlic sauce. The food had loads of flavor and everything was freshly cooked, the restaurant also had a good buzzing atmosphere.”

“Stumble in this bar cuz the name and the advertise at the door that they offer an happy hour which is till 8pm. when i came inside was 7:50, time to order and was 8:06. The bartender said me that was not possible to have that happy hour for 6 minutes delay.:oO Too much busy and buzzy. Of course i will never ask for a martini in a bar like that. The bartenders look like exhibitionist teenagers and the customer as well seems people like don't have any idea of what they are gonna order to drink. I've ordered one cuba libre and one strawberry daiquiri frozen. Well... the daiquiri was just ice crushed in the blender and the cuba was just ice. I've paid 14£ just to taste the ice of this famous B@1!!! When i was complaining about the cocktail tha bartender made for me another daiquiri (the same ice tasting of before) and gave a shot of jager for free... I will say: I don't want a free shot... I just wanna have a good drink for what i pay.. All the table were full of glasses of cocktails left from the customer. Noone to clean the table. The music was very bad and very loud. The bar staff was screaming like crazy monkey at the zoo... Conclusion: I definitely will never go back to this place.”

“Wow! What an amazing place. Coquine is the epitomy of what London has best to give. The food is delightful, the drink list to die for and the service is second to none. From the moment we came in, we were taken care of with the utmost class. But most importantly, the crowd that goes there is St Tropez/St Moritz people. The kind of elite that you only find in very selected hotspots around the world. Go and enjoy the place, because at the moment, it is definitely the best that South Ken has to offer, if not the whole Chelsea/Kensington area. I am still buzzing from our evening there. Can't wait to go back!”

“This place is great value - large servings of good hearty food, pretty cheap too. Not necessarily somewhere you'd take a date to impress them, but a cool place for a night out with friends”

“I went to the Swiss Cottage restaurant while visiting a friend in the area, and wanted something quick (but more filling than a sandwich) to eat before catching my train home. I started with some vegetable dumplings and then had a bowl of chicken noodles, it was filling & really tasty and good value for money too.”

“I am being completely real here. I got no ties to this place and I am so not being paid to say this. I have been in search of a classy comfy place to sit and enjoy some good West Indian / Caribbean food. I have just found it. Magnificent! Real Caribbean food with a little twist. OH the starter, different (the twist) but oh so scrumptious. The main, just a s delicious. The desert- lovely too. We paid around 50 pounds for twoo full courses. I pay that and more at Chinese and Indian Restaurants all the time. I did not mind paying it for some classy tasty Caribbean food. very Highly recommended.”

“PLUSES: Very large beer garden and spacious interior. Menu selection is extensive MINUSES: Long wait for food. Chicken Caesar Salad was poor quality, quantity and over priced. I agree with other reviews about the very long wait for food. We arrived at 12:30 and were served promptly by the many bar staff as there were few customers. We placed an order for 2 meals and sat outside to enjoy the sun. We were one of the first to order and over 30 mins we saw two other tables get food before ours came out after 45 mins. By that time there were at least a dozen tables waiting for food and we could see people getting impatient. The table next to us was told after 45 mins that 2 of their meals were ready but the 3rd was not available anymore.... that was very poor service (and they only got the 1 item refunded). Food: The duck flat bread wrap was very good for £4.25. My Chicken Ceasar salad for £7.50 consisted of lettuce, crutons, cheese and 4 strips of chicken (looked like reformed frozen chicken) was very small and disappointing.... I should have gone with the £5 burger. I was planning to go back for a birthday party.... but I don't think so....”

“Basically, I thought the noodle dish I had was a bit bland. My partner's curry was really nice though, so I'd probably have that if I went again. The staff were quite friendly and helpful with recommendations too, even if i didn't end up agreeing with their advice!”

“A really cool place mixing authentic dim sum with smart and modern interior design. Fresh and flavoursome food of high quality which is never reflected in the price, cocktails and flowering teas to amaze, decent service and a wonderful, laid back atmosphere. Everything you could ask for in a restaurant!!”

Prince of Wales (The) (POW), Clapham (Bar)
“It seems Jibber went to the wrong pub because the POW in Clapham Old Town has not sold Pride in the 10 years I've been drinking there. The best bitter beer is Timothy Taylor’s Landlord (four times Camra’s beer of the year) but unfortunately the pub landlord doesn't buy enough to keep a steady supply so the patient locals have to put up with a variable flow. The toilets often smell (I know women who won’t use them), as sometimes does the pub itself - some days are better than others. Last Saturday night there was a couple there who insisted on throwing the ball up and down the floor of the bar for their two small dogs to chase! Because the landlord rarely appears, except on Thursday’s quiz night, there is no mine host taking any interest whatsoever in his clients and the staff turnover means the service and volume of the music are variable. The walls are decorated with an exceptional variety of tat which gives it an unusual ambience though it must surely be a serious fire hazard. Although it would be a great shame to change it radically it does need some TLC.”
