“Loved the place, so unique and great vibe and classy clientele. Heard about the council trying to close Artesian and other venues at midnight, huge mistake. There will be nowhere for us to go. The main reason I moved to Clapham was the amazing nightlife. Don’t they realise that these unique places make Clapham what it is?”

“I went in this well heeled local to ask about a potential booking for 30 - a local parents' group for a Pre-Xmas dinner. I had one of the rudest exchanges I have ever come across with the manager - as a local that lives literally around the corner, I recognised the manageress. Dismissive, disinterested, but even if you had no interest or or availability, I would not have made my disdain so plain to a local customer. basically just turned and walked away mid-enquiry. Dreadful. I am astonished.”

“I would give this venue a 5 star rating in all its categories because I am in love with this place. The restaurant and front garden is done up so beautifully , and one senses so much of warmth in the ambience. Me and my partner had dinner in the restaurant and we were asked if we wanted to move outdoors after we had finished our meal, I was a bit reluctant as I only saw people smoking the hubble bubble to which the waiter said that we do not have to do that we can just sit outside and finish our wine,which we did, and not to mention ordered our second bottle (It was only £18 a bottle by the way).Lovely staff and excellent food not to mention really good value for money.”

“I never write reviews but I have to really say thank you to all the door and bar staff at Artesian lovely people. I had a table reserved and arrived at 8pm to be greeted by a lovely lady on the door which directed us to our table which was in the ground floor next to the gorgeous fire place. We could even see the DJ booth right opposite us in the main room. Two DJs as duo rocked the place his name was Brett x. I saw some old review saying the decor was tacky... It is the best and prettiest place I have ever seen and believe me I have travelled a lot and seen many many places. Its like walking into a fantasy world and the decor is amazing. Every room is different and so many of them to choose from. Later on we moved to the first floor, music was great and we danced until I was sweating. As I was going to the toilet I saw people were going up so asked the security and he told us that there is another floor. I got back and got my friends to check out the second floor which definitely became my favourite. I loved the roof garden just like a forest, lots of lights and candles looked lovely. The atmosphere in the second floor was so good we decided to stay up there until close. I must say it made me proud I chose Artesian Well as I and all my guests were amazed and really enjoyed the night. Will be back very soon. x”

“We have been to The Drift last Saturday around 9:35pm for some last drinks and some food. We were greeted by a very enthusiastic blonde guy, who seemed quite happy to have us for dinner at that time, promptly he sat us down, but took a bit long to bring us menus. Another guy was quite quick to take our order as the kitchen was gonna be closed very soon. Our drinks were made and sit on the bar for quite long time and no one seemed bothered to bring it to us, after waiting around 10 minutes I had to got there and pick it myself, in this moment I realized they felt a bit ashamed and helped me and apologized. Apart from my friend's burger being wrong and cold which was swiftly replaced by a brand new, the overall experience was great! The Drift is a very cool bar that deserves to be appreciated.. perfect location and decor, when it is not too busy they operate only on the top floor, so if you walk in and dont see anyone at the bar, just walk upstairs.”

“I was very pleased with Barrio and have been recommending it to all my friends since!
Booked for my birthday and everything went swimmingly from the first request I've sent - no question or request was too much hassle for Barrio's team.
I loved the deco, relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff, not to mention yummy cocktails we couldn't get enough of.
It was my first visit, but definitively not the last and I'm keen on trying other branches as well. DJ/music got us dancing very fast - both downstairs and in booked area.
I was really happy with reserving the Porch as not too loud and plenty of light - good for catching up and dancing later on.
My only complaint will be that Barrio is not open longer than 1 am!”

“I have to say i was amazed by this place! the Building goes back to the 1900s, an amazing stair case going up stairs to the relaxed restaurant.
Super friendly staff who couldnt do more for you, good drinks, they even make one of the best martinis i've had in ages!! even in cocktail bars!
Then the food, they have two menus, the bar menu and there restaurant menu. Me and my friends decided to mix and match between the menus where its so nice they allowed us to do this as so chefs are so protective.
I will be coming again very soon and bringing more friends...”
