“Great clubbing experience It has the best bits of the big players - great sound systems and spaces - but every floor still manages to keep the intimacy needed to help both DJs and audience connect. This combination guarantees its unique position in London's club scene. I LOVE IT !!”

Bunch of Grapes, London Bridge & Bermondsey (Bar)
“The barmaid last Friday night, charged about £28.85 for a round of 6 drinks. When I queried this (mostly pints... 5 quid a drink??) she explained how this was a very expensive bar... etc... the till receipt, when it came, revealed she had charged for a mixture we never had and also overcharged on the whole by six quid - no explanation why she'd charged over 4 quid more than on the receipt... Most of our group said they were surprised by their bill and the other bar staff seemed very interested to see someone query the bill.... Most annoying as I used to work near there for 12 years and have gone in occasionally over that time. Won't be back. Perhaps the management could keep a closer eye on the staff... as it's expensive enough without the staff adding a 25% 'tip' on top !!”

The Imperial Arms, Chelsea (Bar)
“I loved it. I've been to London three times, and walked pass the Imperial Arms on my way to the Earls Court tube station. Just happened to poke my head in one time, and all the locals were very receptive to Americans, and couldn't believe we were there. There was karaoke, and the bar staff and patrons were very friendly. My kind of place! Went back each time I was in London. Be a traveler, not a tourist! We are guests while there. Great place, great town. I love London and the Imperial Arms. I lived in New York City for 2 1/2 years, and frequent Chicago. London is still my favorite town. Great neighborhood pub, off the beaten "tourist" path that I highly recommend.”

Roux at The Landau, Marylebone (Restaurant)
“We had a wonderful meal at Roux at the Landau back in December. The food was incredible and we chose the matched wine option with the tasting menu. The service was outstanding as you'd expect from the Roux family. This is proving itself to be setting a standard for fine dining in London and the UK as a whole.”

SOUK Clapham, Clapham (Bar / Club)
“Souk is a jewel in the sometimes depressing London! Stepping inside I felt like id escaped the greyness and the miserable British weather and entered an oasis of warmth and comfort. I loved the look of the place and the feeling of being in Aladdin's den or somewhere exotic like Morocco but with the modern twist of the music (great mix of classic and commercial tracks from the DJ) and also the great crowd that came in that night. I came on a Friday not long after a hard, dull days work and was able to leave all my bad feelings out side and just have a great time! The waiting staff were really friendly and made me feel welcome and that I'd come to the right place. The cocktails made by the lovely bar men were amazing! I didn't try the food but it looked delicious and I will definitely be trying it next time! The night started off quite calmly and I had a nice table to sit with my friend. As the night went on and it got busier the atmosphere encouraged us to leave our seats to dance and mingle with the crowd. I saw they make bookings for parties so I cant wait until my birthday so I have an excuse to throw one there!”
