Fluid Reviews

Duke of York, Bloomsbury (Bar)
“A unique design gives this wonderfully welcoming pub an unusual twist. Now that it is my local, my only disappointment is that when sharing it with some of my cooler friends, they they appear to have been going there for years. You would not think that a 50's design would add charm and design cudos to an establishment, but it does. The wooden partions allow for a suprisingly intimate dinner atmosphere and the main drinking room is light and roomy. The staff stand out as a extremely friendly and thankfully knowledge about the beer, food and wine. Whether if be food, a quiet drink or a conversation you are in luck. Overall an excellent find and one that any visitor to Holborn or genuine London pub connisseur should know about.”
