“Lovely pub for a mid-week meal and a bottle of wine. The burgers are great here. It's always really busy and a good atmosphere. A lovely local pub - I just wish they had a quiz night!”

Nobu London, Mayfair (Bar / Restaurant / Hotel)
“Although the atmosphere can be a bit 'rahhaha I'm a banker and I'm at Nobu so I can be loud' the food is out of this world. The best sushi I have tasted and the most attentive service. We went for my partners boyfriend and they really looked after us, even presented him with a candle and message on his dessert. No visit is complete without the Wagyu beef and foie gras gyoza... heaven on a plate”

“We found this place by accident, you could walk straight past it and not notice it was a restaurant. I will never just walk past again without going in for dinner! What an AMAZING place for dinner - I agree with the other review, the best Indian in town. Delicious food and massive portions. I recommend to everyone and challenge them to find a better curry. Oh and the drinks ar delicious too”

The CAMP (closed), Shoreditch (Bar / Restaurant / Club)
“Went here after a night at The Book Club, it was very hot down there but the music was great, the drinks are surprisingly cheap and the people on the door were really friendly. They even gave us discount as they were quite a few of us. Entry to CAMP also gets you free entry to the after party, half of us decided to call it a night at about 5am but the other went on the the after party and said it was just as good. Will definitely be going back there again soon”

The Ship, Wandsworth (Bar / Restaurant)
“Went here on Friday night after work... what a wonderful place to let your hair down and enjoy the sunshine on the massive decked area. My friend and I had an amazing burger from the outdoor barbeque and then got drunk along with the hundreds of others. It was a great atmosphere and we even spotted three of the McFly boys there. Great night out and a top gastropub. Oh and pints of Bombardier were only £2 because it was St George's Day - result!”

“More of a place to hang out at the weekend than to go and get drunk in the evening. With a great selection of wines and beers (love that they serve Fruli) They have different activity days, good for all the budding sock-puppeteers in you. There are also games to play (cluedo, connect 4 etc) to pass the time. Food isn't haute cuisine but great if you want filling pub grub. Definitely my favourite pub in Putney”

Picture of Tom Ilic (closed), Battersea, London

Tom Ilic (closed), Battersea (Restaurant)
“Went to Tom Ilic on a lazy sunday afternoon, it wasn't very busy in there at that time and six of us are sat down straight away. The three course menu costs £16.95, two courses (which is more than enough at lunch time)costs £14.50 - to say this is value for money is an understatement. The food at Tom Ilic is incredible. Braised pig cheeks and chorizo, fois gras and game terrine, sweetbreads and spiced tuna to start, trio of lamb, roast fillet of beef, baked fillets of John Dory for mains and if you have room for dessert - banana tarte tatin, chocolate fondant or roasted plums with panna cotta. Tom Ilic is over shadowed by Santa Maria four doors down that appeared on the F Word but I know where I'd rather go. Tom Ilic is reasonably priced, serves delicious food, has accomadating waiters and leaves you wanting to go back for more. I've already booked my next visit.”

Fino's Wine Cellar, Mayfair (Restaurant)
“Fino's is a convenient place to go after work if you work in the area, there is a huge publishing house opposite where I think most of the customers come from post 5:30 finishing time. The staff can be quite rude in there but there is one diamond in the rough who is a lovely old chap who is very helpful if a little flirty with the pretty girls! There is a long wine list but not many are by the glass so if you are going, make sure you are there for the long haul! The pizzas at this restaurant are mouth-watering, it's a great place to go in the summer to dine alfresco with friends and a bottle of plonk!”

Hare & Tortoise, Putney (Restaurant)
“My boyfriend I go to the Hare and Tortoise a lot, as it is just a five minute walk from home. The food is amazing and so cheap with it. I have got take away sushi many times before and love watching the skilled chefs making it right before your eyes. The sit down meals are just as good, huge portions of great thai food made freshly in the kitchen. The drinks menu isn't so extensive but caters for most needs. Would recommend to anyone in the area to try.”

Le Pot Lyonnais, Battersea (Bar / Restaurant)
“This is the ultimate in hangover hangouts, especially in the summer when you can sit outside. I love nothing more than nipping over the road to get a sunday paper then basking in the sun with a delicious breakfast (eggs benedict is great!) people watching and chilling out. The typically French restaurant has typically French waiters, they tend to be so relaxed they are almost waiting for you to serve them! Just what you need on a hangover - no one fussing around you, they just let you get on with it and stay at the table for as long as you want. Have been for dinner just the once and the food was great but I definitely recommend for breakfast or lunch! Have just remembered the burger and chips are yummy too!”

The Crown and Two Chairmen, Soho (Bar)
“Great pub for an after work glass of wine, they have so many different bottles on offer and I was pleased to find recently they have added one of my favourite South African whites. Gets busy upstairs quite early on thursdays/fridays but I much prefer it up there - especially if i can get a seat with my friends.”

Dish Dash (closed), Balham (Bar / Restaurant)
“I was supposed to be going somewhere else on the evening that I went to Dish Dash so it was great that it was easy to get a table. The decor is really warming and great to get out of the cold night into a cosy environment however I wasn't that impressed with the food, between the four of us we had about 16 different dishes but there were only a few that I liked. The waiting staff were quite busy on the evening which made it quite difficult to enjoy the service, also when we ordered the food the names on the menu are hard to pronounce let alone remember so when the waitress was placing the plates on the table and saying them we had no idea what half the plates were. I wouldn't rush back to Dish Dash but would consider going again.”

Yauatcha, Soho (Bar / Restaurant)
“I prefer to sit downstairs when I visit this chinese dim sum restaurant, upstairs is light and airy but downstairs feels more exclusive and i love the huge fishtank that spans the width of the bar (if you get bored of your company that can keep you entertained for hours!) The food and wine can be expensive but it's totally worth it. I love the venison puffs, spicy soft shell crab, mushroom dumplings and ginger martinis! the waiting staff are so professional and really attentive. Great London restaurant & bar to go after work.”

Yumchaa, Soho (Bar)
“I love this restaurant especially at lunch time, it's a great place to take clients to for a quick coffee and slice of cake. The customers in there tend to be quite quirky, lots of people working with one of Yumchaa's delicious teas. My favourite is Red Christmas, it's smells and looks delicious and it's so cheap in there to. A real good find.”
