Picture of Bengal Village, Shoreditch, London

Bengal Village, Shoreditch (Restaurant)
“Brick Lane is always a joy, very atmospheric, and, of course, lots of choice. I use several good restaurants, but on every other visit I head for the Bengal Village. The staff are friendly and welcomomg, and the place always has a buzz, having a regular following. The menu is varied and you can't go wrong, since every dish is great, including the jeera rice, which isn't on the menu. Garlic chilli chicken is my favourite dish! I don't normally allow myself popadoms and dips, even free ones, but they are so good here I allow myself them. I've been using this great Bangladeshi restaurant for over 10 years and have taken along over 250 friends, all have loved it without exception! A guaranteed great night out. I was initially drawn in by the minimalistic furniture, pictures of Bangladesh, and a smiling meeter and greeter, so glad I did!”
