Rules, West End (Bar / Restaurant)
“I went to Rules after it had been suggested to me by a friend of mine. I went with my family for a birthday and unfortunately didn't enjoy the experience. I chose Duck for a main and asked if it could be cooked very well - I'm a bit funny with very rare meat. When I started cutting into it, I noticed some blood appearing at the bottom of my plate. I decided to cut right down the middle and the bottom section was half raw and it was the same with my brothers. The staff were very good about it: they took it away and took it off our bill. Unfortunately, I didn't feel like eating after that, so I just waited for everyone else to finish. Maybe I will go back at somepoint and try something else (as all the other dishes were enjoyed) but for now, I'm just going to see what other places have to offer.”

Rumba, Soho (Bar / Club)
“Bar Rumba has always been a cool night out for me. I used to go on Wednesday nights where they would literally play anything and I would land up staying on the dance floor for most of the night. Sometimes it can be quieter on certain nights, but all that means is you need to drag a big group of your friends with you.”

Madame Jo Jo's (closed), Soho (Bar / Club)
“I have been to Madame Jo Jo's on several different occasions. I like the size and style of the venue, because it makes it an enjoyable, intimate space to be in. However, some of the music was not always to my taste, so always check out the night your going to before heading out.”

OXO Tower Restaurant, South Bank & Bankside (Restaurant)
“I went to the Oxo Tower for my year anniversary with my boyfriend and we had a fantastic time! The food was divine, the staff were exquisite and the view from our table added the final touch. Definitely a great place for a special occasion.”
