“A funky setting with great staff and attention to detail. Prices are steep and the lower priced seafood looked disappointly small and while my giant tiger prawns lived up to the name and price, they were disappointly bland and made me regret not going for the tea-smoked non-giant option.”

“A quick pre opera dinner. Reasonable amount of choices on the 2 for £14 menu. Starter of chicken skewers was good - tender and succulent. Main rump steak was generous but a little chewy. Wine was overpriced compared to the menu but I guess standard with Covent Garden prices.”

“A breath of fresh air (unless you are sat next to the smokers in the garden - can't we ban them from outside too??!) from the run of the mill gastro pubs all over london. Brilliant garden, quirkly rooms and bar area and an underground club hosting live music everynight! Definately worth a trip west and if you get off the OTHER end of the tube and take the rear exit from Earls Court, its a very short walk from the tube.”

“The brasserie style is a little noisy but service is fast and the food is excellent value for 3 courses for £15. The starter halloumi salad was generous but the accompanying vegetables were a little on the limp and soggy side. Main and dessert were great. Fun to wander around the Andaz hotel as you get lost on the way to the bathroom.”

Marco Polo, Putney (Restaurant)
“Perfect restaurant for a long lunch overlooking the river Thames on a sunny afternoon. Good freshly cooked Italian food, attentive staff and a great terrace - one of the most spacious I've seen between Putney and Wandworth!”
