“good evening, we today visited the savoy grill to celebrate my mother's birthday. we had a great welcome as entering your hotel and enjoyed champagne in the bar prior to going into the savoy grill. we found the staff within the grill less than accomodating, having dined in several Gordon Ramsey restaurants it became increasingly unpleasant. i ordered a dry white wine spritzer with soda and upon arrival the soda was flat i asked if this could be changed but was advised it was because i had ordered dry white wine, that soda does not remain fizzy!!!! i find that strange. we ordered our food, Mum wanted her rib eye rare to medium but was advised this was not possible it would have to be medium rare, the steak was too cooked for mum's taste, my partner asked for her liver to be medium rare but it was cooked more to well done palette.”
