The Rising Sun Review

Only five minutes walk away from Victoria Station and Sloane Square is a little known pub called The Rising Sun. Having re-invented itself since being taken over by the new owners six months ago, The Rising Sun is still a Youngs Pub, and offers the normal Youngs beer and an excellent food menu.

The pub hasn’t the most glamorous of exteriors, though The Rising Sun has a tastefully decorated interior with a bar stretching across the back wall and through to the, when required, function room. There are the standard tables and benches out the front on Ebury Bridge Road, but tucked away at the back is a small beer garden – unique to this part of London? Adorned with beautiful flowers there are also garden heaters to keep the chill away during those London summer evenings.

The Rising Sun Description

The Rising Sun is a modern but traditional pub which was completely refurbished in 2003. With its heated patio garden and outside area it is a wonderful pub to visit all year round. Challenge your general knowledge and join the Rising Sun every Thursdday evening from 19.30 for their quiz. If you enjoy live music come to the Rising Sun on Wednesday evenings from 19.00 and enjoy listening to their pianist play.
