Yauatcha Description

Yauatcha has created a casual dining dim sum tea house with an all-day grazing experience based on the traditional Chinese teahouses. Marrying delicious dim sum with the cutting edge interior design by Christian Liaigne, the critically acclaimed Michelin-starred restaurant modernises traditional recipes without compromising its quality and authenticity. The glamorous restaurant retains the feel of a traditional teahouse, with the open kitchen at the front of the ground floor shopfront so that it is visible to passing customers, whilst providing a modern interpretation of a teahouse or 'chatter shop'. Yauatcha serves 150 varieties of dim sum and a range of delicious pastries, including their renowned macaroons.

“I prefer to sit downstairs when I visit this chinese dim sum restaurant, upstairs is light and airy but downstairs feels more exclusive and i love the huge fishtank that spans the width of the bar (if you get bored of your company that can keep you entertained for hours!) The food and wine can be expensive but it's totally worth it. I love the venison puffs, spicy soft shell crab, mushroom dumplings and ginger martinis! the waiting staff are so professional and really attentive. Great London restaurant & bar to go after work.”
