The Hobby Horse Description

With a decor modelled on a Victorian playroom juxtaposed with an atmosphere of frivolity, at The Hobby Horse you will find a crowd of East London creatives who don’t go to Shoreditch because it’s ‘cool’ but rather because they actually live or work there. The celebrated East London acts that play there choose to perform because they are friends of the venue and recognise the ideals of the place.

All staff at The Hobby Horse have been selected because they have a distinctive skill which they bring to the already inventive bar and eatery - some are musicians, others are film makers – and are given an input into the diverse calendar of events there. As well as supporting local talent, The Hobby Horse will be supporting their local butcher, with the vast selection of sausages served with fresh mash sourced from The Butcher Shop who make them by hand themselves. With a menu of traditional warming meals and a bar that serves cocktails, ales and all that’s in between, The Hobby Horse has choices for every palate.
