Avista Description

Book a table at Avista

Chef Michele Granziera, formerly of Zafferano, brings his rustic but modern regional Italian cuisine to the heart of Mayfair. Launched in October 2008, Avista is open daily for lunch and dinner. The restaurant takes over the site of Brian Turner Restaurant in Mayfair’s Millennium hotel and the space has had a major refurbishment. The new look mixes marble, graphite & taupe leather banquettes. There is also a new street entrance just for Avista.

Typical dishes include Sicilian prawns with fresh oregano, malfatti with burrata and Fiorentina steak with bone marrow and balsamico. Most dishes are designed to share, and the overall style of the restaurant is informal and welcoming.

Customer Reviews for Avista

“I visited this restaurant recently, whilst staying with relatives in Pimlico. Beautiful food, ambience and the drink flowed well. A bit pricey but well worth it. Mr Turner knows his stuff. Then again this is what you would expect of Mayfair. The staff were attentive friendly and certainly did not bear the hallmarks of some of the stuffy regimented enclaves of Mayfair. Top Notch!”
