Alloro, Italian for bay leaf, was opened to great critical acclaim in June 2000. Ever since, this busy Dover Street eatery has proved popular for lunch and dinner with both local residents and the Mayfair business trade. Keeping to a simple recipe of Italian favourite dishes - all pastas and breads are made on the premises - the seasonal menu always achieves expectations.

To compliment this, Alloro also boasts an authentic and typical Italian bar area - Il Baretto. During the popular and busy lunch period, the bar doubles as a Bisto to provide swift food service for those who require speedy service. However, open throughout the day, it also serves as an excellent meeting point or as a quick stop for passing shoppers.
