“I went to this restaurant last weekend with a large group of friends. The amount of food that we were served was enough for only half the amount of people. When we challenged the manager regarding this he was rude to us and this totally ruined our evening. The bill was enormous and completely overpriced. The atmosphere was dark and dingy. The music was cheesy 80's pop with a little bit of Arabic slung in towards the end of the evening. I would never recommend this restaurant and will never go back.”

“never ever go to this place - EVER. went with a group of girls for hen night, waited 1 hours for starter....waited another hour for main course. how the kitchens can make a meal SO UNBELIEVEABLY UNTASTY IS BEYOND ME. when we received our bill for £700 - we paid; then were told that we had underpaid by £56. i looked at the bill again and found that the "manager" had printed out a new bill wiht some mysterious additions and was trying to palm me off! lucky i wasn''t drunk....
if this review gave the opportunity for 0 stars - i''d be racking them up!
save your money or go elsewhere. don''t tell me i didn''t warn you.....

“Hi - We went to Ayoush for a work colleagues birthday. The staff were rude and thought that they were totally above all of their guests. When I tried to settle my bill for myself and 6 others, I was charged for a whole table of people I did not know. They refused to refund my card and I was told to ask the rest of the people for the money. That of course did not happen and I was left out of pocket. I then approached the bar to buy another round. They offered to bring the drinks over, they charged me 12.5% for this honour even though I had ordered myself. I wouldnt go to Ayoush again if you paid me. Try Lavant across the road - this is what Ayoush aspires to be.”

“This was the cheapest most disappointing dinning experience I have ever had. The tasteless food and abysmally poor service lead to an evening where I felt I had been thoroughly fleeced and ripped off by Ayoush's attempt to earn a quick pound while providing as little as possible. The appetizers included egg and onion rings which I am fairly sure are not middle east in origin and had no consistency with the dinner, the calamari wasn't bad but again didn't belong. The bread was white from a package and a far cry from what I would expect. The meal was small, bland, and thoroughly disappointing. Finally, we order a shisha or nargile and mint tea. I would be surprised if there had been any mint or tea in it and was appalled to find the shisha cost 20 GBP, for which I could have purchased a small nargile! For two people to have a glass of champagne, starters, a main course, dessert, a bottle of wine, tea and a shisha I paid 160 GBP and left feeling I had been ripped off. This was the most upsetting let down for an incredibly high price, this meal was barely worthy of a microwave dinner.
