“This is a neighborhood pub for us and we avoided it because of a bad review. Huge mistake! We found out tonight that the food and wine is really very, very good! The atmosphere is cozy wherever you sit, the staff is so nice and wishing to please, and best of all, the price is easy on the wallet! We'll definitely walk around the corner more often!”

“I celebrated my 55th birthday here. Good food and friendly staff and a great DJ, too. I will be back for my 60th!”

“I like the venue and its decor and try to support local businesses where possible. I enjoy the interesting approach that the Pottery has on 'tapas' - it's not necessarily 'traditional' Spanish, but this is fine. I do have an issue with the bread though. I do feel that the Pottery is busy and popular enough, with a good turnover, to now have fresh bread, not the frozen baquettes that you would only use in emergencies. God forbid if you ask for more bread without planning or announcing it at the start of the ordering as you will then have to wait up to 15 minutes to get it - perhaps too late as you may be expecting to order dessert by then.”

“does this place microwave everything? lemon sole hot and tasteless, apple and plum crumble searingly hot on inside, extremely noisy, music playing and flashing lights in dance area, some guy playing guitar on sofa - never again!”

“Chintzy restaurant/bar for the well-heeled kingstonians -
A bunch of us had the misfortune of eating the most unauthentic tapas ever. The bar prices were rediculous too.
I have been invited back there tonight, which will be it's "last chance" to redeem itself. Will report back.”

“The owners have converted this old bar into a rustic yet modern tapas restaurant. We enjoyed good quiality tapas to start plus 2 mains meals and wine plus a couple of off the tap Guniess for 50 Quid. My main of Lamb skewers served with seasonal vegetables was so big I reculantly had to decline the chalk board desserts which all sounded homemade and delious. One of the highlight was the freshly baked bread which was made onsite. Overall this is a great little local and we will definately go back.”
