There used to be an  inscription here…. “Ars Langa Vita Brevis, Nunc Est Bibendum” meaning “Art is eternal, life is short, now lets drink” ….now in design terms out of date, but in reality still here in spirit! The pub is a Geronimo classic with comfort for your bum, pleasures to your eye and fine fresh sustenance for your body.

The Duke of Clarence is the oldest licensed building on Old Brompton Road but was better known in the area for its brunch, burgers and bonhomie, but it is now reputed for the wine list as well as a beer range to satisfy the demanding residents of Kensington and beyond.

Diners mix with stylish drinkers, watching the sport or just the world passing by the huge open windows.
