“Small portions - if you are on a diet, however, a good bet. My first course of lobster (tasty) £12 was minute, my second course was dried chicken with curry powder. If you are hoping for any rich creamy sauce (or one of your party is) forget it. Unimaginative menu - ie: piece of chicken or lamb chop which arrives hot but overcooked with a small dollop of pickle and salad. Strangely unbalanced meals - there wasn't a bread roll or naan in sight. Dessert is not any better - you have a choice of fruit salad or sorbets. Our coffees were luke-warm and we asked two waiters several times for sugar - a few small cubes between six of us appeared. Despite repeated requests, one dessert (my son's) never appeared at all - as he was so hungry I gave him half of my sorbet. Very poor service and you are not made to feel welcome. Incidentally, I am a size 8 and not a big eater but this restaurant was a big disappointment. And nothing I couldn't cook myself at home (or get ready-made from Tesco.)”
