The Lucky Pig Cocktail Bar Description

The Lucky Pig is a cocktail bar situated in the heart of Fitzrovia providing in-the-know Londoners with classic cocktails, old fashioned glamour and good times as soon as they walk down the stairs.

The design of the bar has drawn on elements from the Art Nouveau period and old New York to create a space packed full of fascinating design features, wooden floors, beautiful mismatched furniture and plush upholstery. Juxtaposing exposed brickwork with one off art pieces, Chinese parasols, antique mirrors and chandeliers, the venue is a veritable treasure trove of collectible objects.

Along the back wall is a bar fashioned from an old shop front serving classic cocktails. Lining the side of the venue is a collection of cubby holes seating up to 8 people. Featuring tables suspended from the ceiling and lockable vintage trunks for keeping coats, handbags and valuables, the booths are ideal for private parties.

The whole feel of the venue will be one of old school style and night-time mischief. In the corner of the venue is an upright piano, ideal for those impromptu Blues renditions, while the tables and chairs can easily be pushed out the way for some spontaneous dancing once the evening gets underway. Even the antique ornaments are available for purchase if a guest really falls in love with a particular piece.

The cocktail menu has been designed by Bar Manager, Olly Hornby Smith (Soho House Group) and features classic, simple, but perfectly formed concoctions all served in beautiful glassware. Eschewing bottle service, the Champagne is served in cups not flutes, and there will not be a sparkler in sight. “Great tunes, hard to find, basement bar, has cool little curtained alcoves, table service (I think), sort of Prohibition speakeasy vibe going on, great for birthday parties and alike. Is every decent bar in this town underground?”
