“We got married here in July 2010. We had excellent service from Oleia and her team every step of the way. So many of our guests commented and how fanatstic the venue was and how great the staff were. We are going back to the restauraunt for our 4 month anniversary thsi weekend and are really looking forward to it.”

“My husband and I had our wedding this year, 2010 at the beautiful venue Beauberry House. You cannot fault the absolute beauty of the house and it's setting.
However, as we experienced difficulties on the day, the management lost their temper, made bad decisions on our behalf, and left my husband and I completely embarassed looking back on the day.
We were charged £950 plus £312 service charge (£1262) for post ceremony and dinner drinks for 60 people. However, during the dinner, my guests were charged for their soft drinks! They did not accept my request for a refund for those guests drinks!
I purchased freeze dried rose petals as instructed by the Event Manager, and she made an 'executive decision' not to use them as my table decoration for the day (even though I had spent hours and hours deciding what combination/colours/decorations to use!). So the tables did not look the way I had wanted them to, not to mention the waste of my time and money!
We had a food tasting and chose what we wanted for our meal, but we were served with something different (polenta) which quiet frankly, was disgusting!!!!
The ceremony was finished by 4.30pm, we were scheduled to be called for dinner at 5.45pm.... by 6.15pm we were bored, and left wandering around the house trying to find out what the hell was going on, in the end we just went upstairs and seated ourselves for dinner! Complete disorganisation and lack of communication.
I had spent days and days organising the music myself onto iTunes. I can't even begin to explain the time and effort that went into the music on the day.... the music was completely messed up from nothing being played while my guests were waiting for me, to the same 3 songs being repeated over and over during the party!!!!
We were told we had to supply our own wedding cake, but would be charged a £50 cake charge (i assume to cut and serve the cake!). However, the cake was never cut, nor was it served. They did not offer me a reimbursement of the charge!
I had asked for non-alc. beer to be for the groom, & my father - but they were never served & when i asked for them, they only received 1 small bottle of beer each (i was charged £11 per head for beer!!!)
To top it off, we had to witness the senior staff acting in a degrading manner towards the waiters. Completely inappropriate way to behave in front of paying customers and their guests!!!
When I sent a letter of complaint to the HO, they not only dismissed every issue i raised, they also accused me of lying to get money out of them!
What a disgrace!”

“Speaking from experience - a fantastic venue for a wedding! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. A beautiful wedding setting for both the ceremony and reception. A real bonus was the events manager Oleia and the team who worked extremely hard to ensure the day ran smoothly. Even when a few curve balls were thrown at them by the wedding party they handled everything with extreme professionalism. The friendly and efficient staff created a relaxed atmoshphere and meant that we could all enjoy a stress-free wedding. The BBQ food was wonderful, really tasty and plenty of it. Alcohol was also available in abundance with very prompt refills. Everything was well organised and coordinated. Genuinely the guests, family and friends all had a great time and extremely positive comments. Thank you to all at Beauberry House for making a special day wonderful!”

“Unfortunately I cannot rate the food at Beauberry House as we did not get to eat any!! When we arrived having booked a table a month ago as a Christmas present for my parents we were told that many of the items on the menu were not available, including the only vegetarian dish. Guess what we were offered as a substitute....turkey!!! Just what we wanted straight after Christmas!! Sadly the staff did not seem to care or offer any apology and we promptly left and had a fantastic meal in Crystal Palace. This place may present itself as a classy restaurant but in all the pomp it forgot about basic customer service!! I would just like to thank the kind waitress who got our coats while the head waiter had strangely disappeared.”
