Darbucka is the vision of Syrian Musician Ahmad Mohammad. Ahmad became attracted to the world music scene soon after moving to London in 1999 and joined organizations such as Hubble Bubble and OOJAMI. Ahmad's first passion is music... Ahmad's other passion is cuisine.

Combine the two in the unique Bedouin tent-like interior of 182 St John Street and you have "Darbucka" - the perfect place to stage world music, chill out and enjoy sensational hot and funky tastes from the East.

Upstairs, on the ground floor, they have a restaurant menu, and Damask Bar. Downstairs, experience sounds from around the world in the party atmosphere. They have live world music and dancing events throughout the week. They have a full range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks (cocktails, smoothies, mint tea) in both their bars and of course shisha pipes.
