An atmosphere entirely unique this to side of the Atlantic is created in this built-from-scratch Cuban hideaway. The bar is frequented mainly by locals in pursuit of a vacation from the daily grind, and a friendly atmosphere pervades, even when the Cuban music is in full swing the dance-floor is full.

Ropa Vieja Ropa Vieja means Old Clothes. The dish was said to be introduced to Cuba by Spanish sailors. It consists of shredded beef sauteed with onions, garlic and vegetables Served with rice. £ 10.00
Picada Fried strips of beefsteak with green pepper, potato and onion. £ 6.00
Champigñones al Ajillo Chestnut mushrooms cooked in garlic. £ 6.00

Don the Beachcomber's ZOMBIE A deadly concoction consisting of 5 different rums, homemade syrups, bitters and fresh juices. Limited to 2 per person per night. £ 10.00

We host live music every week from Thursday to Sunday, all music is free expect to see a hat being passed around. We also hold a fortnightly rum tasting where for £10 you can try the best rums.

This Tuesday Abuelo Rum from Panama will be paying us a visit. For £10 you will be given a brief introduction to Panamanian rum culture and then get to tasting the 5yr, 7yr, 12yr and the Abuelo Centuria, a 30yr solera blend, and probably the pinnacle of Panama rum production.
