“I used to love this place as I'm an avid pool player. The fact they have 11 full American size pool tables (complete with purple baise) is a blessing. Lots of room, waitress service - wonderful. I haven't actually used this place in it's nightclub capacity though. Having said all this, the place has lost it's sparkle. The food has taken a downward turn with smaller portions and they can't serve a pint of Caffereys-it's always flat and tastes revoulting. They also haven't changed the baise on any of their tables since they opened, so the pool playing aspect of your visit is also lessened somewhat. This coupled with the fact that the place is starting to look tatty around the edges is altogether a disappointment - it's gone from one of my favourite (once a week visits) bars to somewhere I frequent (once every 2/3 months) only when I need to.”

“A well set out pool hall that, though an occasionally enjoyable night out, offer little when stripped down. The stylish fluorescent purple backdrop to the bar and the trendy hollowed out coke can seats fail to disguise that this is a noisy and sweaty place, which desperately wants to but never does reach the inborn cool of its Finchley Road and Fulham siblings. It is, however, undoubtedly popular and the clientele are a decent bunch. The bar staff, too, share some of the qualities of their customers – friendly, non-judgemental and, frankly, startlingly attractive. Not as clever as it thinks it is, but you could do worse.”

“This is probably the best late night venue in Angel. It has lots of pool tables, a huge bar with a dance floor to match. Although it's a very busy venue, i feel that it slightly lacks in atmosphere as it floats somewhere inbetween a pool hall and a night club.”
