A great use of space though and love the authentic decor. The Philly cheesesteak could be cheesier but delicious nonetheless. Boozy milkshakes are a good call too.”

Brown leather absolutely everywhere - come on people! Looked good in the 90s. The previous incarnation - Tabernacle? - was much better. What happened to the disco floor downstairs? Now it's just pictures of naked ladies and shot girls wandering about. Trashy. Still, good place to satrt an evening for a quiet cocktail.”

And the food is excellent considering the price they ask for it. The spices aren't too hot either so if you normally go a korma, extend your boundaries and try something a little meaner. We reserved a table for 12 on a Tuesday night and we still had to wait in line for half an hour. It's insanely busy in there. The service is great though and the lamb chops are legendary (my main reason for going really). But I did find some of the food a tad greasy and I couldn't help thinking that there must be better curry restaurants in London. I might stick with Tooting next time.”
