Southwark Rooms (Bar / Restaurant / Club)
60 Southwark Street, London Bridge, London Bridge & Bermondsey, London, SE1 1UN
“I like the food there, and think that it should play more of a feature than it currently does. The drinks make for an explosive night out as well!”

“The venue for every occasion. I have used this gem for 10 years for business lunchs, staff drinks, cheeky beers, watching sports, dates, Friday night chaos and some truly legendary Saturday all nighters!
Looking forward to dinner on Thursday and can't recommend it enough.”

“I have been to Upper West twice now including the opening night, I have to say i was really impressed last night, as the crowd was great, we were looked after very well by the hostess and the problems from the week before seemed to have been resolved, so i will definitely be going back.”

Worship Street Whistling Shop (Bar)
63 Worship Street, Shoreditch, London, EC2A 2DU
“Had great expectations for this bar but the greeting on arrival was dreadful from a bar attendant that neither looked at us when he spoke nor could be understood by either of us. Found him really unhelpful where choosing a cocktail was concerned. We then moved around to the otherside of the bar where we were taken care of by a more helpful female bar attendant....the cocktails were disappointing so we move on to a glass of wine which was nice we chose the cheese platter to go with it which was not great, the artisan bread......was just a couple of slices of regular boring white bread!! won't be rushing back any time soon”

The Normanby (Bar / Restaurant)
231 Putney Bridge Road, Putney, London, SW15 2PU
“I have been a lot of times because I am living in the neighbourhood I must say that it used to be a really good place to enjoy watching football or having something for lunch/dinner. But in the last months the responsible of managing, from the manager to the waiters/waitresses are really bad. The are very impolite, slow and not very friendly with the customers.”

L'Absinthe (Restaurant)
40 Chalcot Road, Swiss Cottage & Primrose Hill, London, NW1 8LS
“I dined at L'absinthe at the weekend - and I honestly couldn't fault it. The beef bourguignon was delicious and I had a sumptuous chocolatey dessert. It's hearty, tasty food with a candle-lit, friendly atmosphere to boot. You can also buy the wines on their wine list for prices minus corkage to take away - so you can try before you buy! I'd thoroughly recommend it”

SOUK Clapham (Bar / Club)
165 Clapham High Street, Clapham, London, SW4 7SS
“Souk is a cool place to go, and i enjoyed the crowd. Although the cocktail menu is really good, I tend to enjoy cream and chocolate and they didn't have anything like this on the menu. Considering there isn't a dessert menu, I think it would be better if they added something like this for those of us with a sweet tooth. The atmosphere is really great, and I particularly enjoyed the lighting. Only thing is, being a tall guy I found the tables quite low especially if you're not sitting against the wall.”

“A group of went here last night, OMG what a place, the food is to die for. The pizzas are so large they just about fit on the tables and as for the other dishes, they looked just as good, presentation was 10 out of 10, service spot on and the desserts im told are home made, looked great but had no room. best to go in groups as food is in large portions, definitely value for money great night out, great place, great staff, great value. great food want my advice try it for yourself you wont be disappointed.”

“One of the best Mexican restaurants in London. If you want authentic Mexican street food, this is it. Tips: don't order anything without avocado in it; and always order at least one fish dish.”

The Montcalm Hotel, 34-40 Great Cumberland Place, Marylebone, London, W1H 7TW

The Perkin Reveller (Restaurant)
The Wharf at The Tower of London, The Tower of London, City of London, London, EC3N 4AB
“Do not leave here without sampling a few cocktails in the bar area under Tower Bridge first. And make sure you book a window seat for dinner because this restaurant has the best views of Tower Bridge money can buy. The quality of the British cuisine served here is almost perfect. Hearty feeds for tourists and City workers alike.”

The Medieval Banquet (Restaurant)
Ivory House, St Katharine Docks, City of London, London, E1W 1AT
“Considering the amount of food that is needed for this banquet the kitchen does a fairly decent job of it. It isn't haute cuisine but it's not meant to be. It's all about the sword fighting, the juggling, and the shouting for more ale. Lots of fun for group bookings.”
