“This is such a gem of a restaurant, great food, wonderful location, and fantastic service! We had a Caprese Salad to start which was delicious, not too dressed up and let the fresh ingredients do the talking. I cannot recommend the Linguine Vongole (clams) enough, this is one of my favourite dishes and I’ve had a lot of different ones, but Hamilton’s is one of the best! Hamilton’s also has excellent Coffee and a good selection of beers – the Extra Blond (on draught) comes highly recommended. Overall a amazing food and a great place for dinner (they do breakfast and lunch too which I intend on trying), and superb value!”

“I went to the Mayfair Club on Saturday evening, there was a big group of us, about 20, for my girl friends birthday so we had arranged a guest list with the promoters. There was a bit of confusion on the door when we arrived but it was quickly sorted out by the door host and the manager and when we got inside the manager gave a couple of glasses of champagne. The rest of the night was perfect, the music was banging and a very good looking crowd. We had arrived early and by 11.30/12 the club was almost full and busy all night. Great night, we will be going back soon! Thanks Mayfair Club!”

“I went to The White House on Saturday for the first time in a couple of years and have to say that it is still as great as i remembered. All of the door staff and security were very friendly upon arrival and the atmosphere was great as soon as we walked in. They had a great variation of house music being played over two floors, with live performers and a saxophonist which really set the mood. We later on found the VIP area upstairs which had brilliant decor and was a lovely place to relax and socialise with friends. I definitely recommend this as one of the best clubs in Clapham and will be going again soon.”

“The cocktails at 3 Monkeys really are worth a trip to Balham - they're different to any I've tried anywhere else before. My first drink was set on fire in front of me, the second came with a whole chilli in it and then to round things off I got a chocolate chip cookie with another. I took a sneaky peek at the ping-tron room on the way back from the toilets and am gutted it's only available until 6th May as it looked amazing. If you like a spicy drink you really must check this place out.”

“Sad to see something that was originally so hyped, be so bad. Arrived around 11pm on a Friday. Dirty glasses all over the place and generally non chilled atmosphere. Looks like another place that has been a victim of it's over promotion - and attracted the wrong crowd. Was there a couple of months back and it was perfect - chilled, good atmosphere, clean, good service. Shame, shame....”
