Having already revealed that this week's Taste of London food and wine festival in Regent's Park will be showcasing and sampling the world's most expensive chocolate, Fluid London can now also alert food status bounty hunters that Taste of London will be unveiling the world's most expensive Scotch egg as well.

To purchase this egg-straordinary Scotch egg you would normally need to shell out £500. However, Taste of London is offering everyone a chance to win this smashing snack instead. £5 raffle tickets will be available at the festival from 21st-24th June, with all proceeds going to the Jamie Oliver Foundation.

The Scotch Egg winner will win a meal for two at Launceston Place, where Head Chef Tim Allen, the creator of this mouth-watering masterpiece, will cook the golden egg for the lucky foodie. Tickets will be available at the Launceston Place stand and the main Taste Theatre in the festival.

The World's Most Expensive Scotch Egg comprises of a Clarence Court Burford Brown egg, rod-caught wild salmon from the Callart Estate in Scotland, layers of 24 carat edible gold leaf, Imperial Beluga caviar, and a Mother of Pearl spoon.
