On Tuesday 9th February the sumptuous Stanza restaurant and bar (in conjunction with Speeddater.co.uk ’the original and biggest leader in singles events‘) will be welcoming all singletons who fancy speed dating with a difference. Based on the TV show ‘Dating in the dark’ this cool and totally unique event will aim to explore the fascination of beauty versus personality and how much of a part does physical attraction and chemistry play in dating?

How the event works: Men and women will be arriving and registering separately so as to keep the genders apart and given instructions as to how the event will work. Then the dating begins. Everyone will be blindfolded and sat down. Every 3 minutes a bell will ring and you will raise your hand if you like the person you have just dated. Hosts will note this down on your score card and then gents will be guided on to the next table. At the end of the event there will be a dramatic ‘reveal’ where you will get to see who you have dated. You will be then be invited to stay on and mingle with all guests and see if your ticks need to be changed to crosses!

Stanza is ideal for business or social meetings with sophisticated touches of glamour. Sultry and sumptuous by night it attracts a chic and creative clientele from all around town. The bar itself is over 9.5 metres long and is highlighted by an impressive centre piece created by Max Viccardi. The experienced bar team at Stanza include some of the industries finest, creative talents concocting expertly made cocktails, using only the most premium brands for every drink. The event will be held exclusively in the bar at Stanza.
